sim card not received

Ordered new sim to join on friday last week. Not received yet ( wednesday)! But have received monthly bill starting 27 november. Confused as I can't use what I haven't received. Why does contract not start from date sim is activated in phone? How do I get my sim card that corresponds to the welcome account that has been set up??

Replacement SIM activated but doesn't work.

Hello, I upgraded my sons SIM only contract, a new SIM was sent and I activated it before swapping it over, however the new SIM does not work in the phone, the phone thinks there isn’t one inserted. It recognises the old SIM (although that’s obviously disabled since I activated the new one) and it works just fine with my SIM. I need a new one sent please.

iPhone 13 Pro Stock?

Hi - I ordered the iPhone 13 Pro on 21st November when it was showing as awaiting stock with a date of 2nd December for stock to be available.  Got a mail the following day advising of the delay and my bank confirmed payment of £0.01 and the credit check was undertaken - but then nothing.Is it possible to advise when stock is likely to be available and that the Black Friday deal that I purchased the phone under will be valid, despite the stock delay, please?Many thanks

My new phone will not work with the provided new sim card

I purchased an iD mobile contract, alongside the Google Pixel 6, which arrived today. However, the Pixel will not work with the new iD mobile sim. It recognises that there is an iD sim seated within the phone, however I have no signal. In the network and internet settings, under “Calls and SMS” it reads “iD (Temporarily Unavailable)”.The iD sim works fine when placed into my old Huawei phone, and my old 3 sim works fine in the Pixel; I can make calls and access mobile data on both this way. Yet the iD sim will not work when placed into the Pixel. I do not understand. Can anyone offer any insight? I have spoken with an iD representative through the Live Chat feature, but was not able to find remedy in their advice.

Returned my phone within 14 days but have received a bill

I received my phone and SIM but quickly found I didn't get signal in key areas so returned the phone to my local currys 5 days later. I was well within the 14 days cool off period but have today received my "final bill" of £21.70.Why have I received a bill at all especially one which is 70% of the total monthly price of the phone after 5 days?

Higher than usual bill

My phone bill is £73 pounds and should be £25 pounds I have caps and have free calls why on earth is my phone bill £73 pounds my poor Nan is a pensioner and is worried about it she has a pace paker I’m [Removed] with iD so if you DO NOT reduce my phone bill to the agreed amount we clarified each month the some of £25 I will be having the contract signed over into my name and we are NOT paying and cancelling. I can take the repossession order NOT MY ELDERLY NAN! You are taking the right [Removed] of my contract and I am already disappointed in you… just like Vodaphone. My contract was £25 ONLY a month and your charging £73 pounds

Hi, I placed an order on 19/11/2021, got a confirmationDear Mr Purdy We’re still processing your order (119075528). The item is out of stock, but credit checks being run.Could you please update me as to the status of my order. I am happy to wait for stock, but surely the credit check is complete. sim only upgrade

Im due an upgrade, didnt like any of the phones. Saw a sim offer on your app, its processed but latest email from you guys indicates im getting a new number which i didn't really want. Can it just be processed as an upgrade? I did read your advice which I've attached before proceeding so assumed it was possible.

charged twice for one month

Hi the app displayed in red “bill is due” a few days ago for the month of November so I was wondering why this was happening resulting in me manually paying the due amount a few days ago. Today I open the app and I’m told that another same amount was taken for the month of November and my bank has been overdrawn as I was not expecting another payment until December. This is clearly an error as I’ve been charged twice for the same month. I need help with this as soon as possible.

New ID plan purchased as phone not available on upgrade

Hi,I’ve just ordered the Google Pixel 6 Pro on a new ID plan as this phone wasn’t available as an upgrade. I haven’t done anything with my current (existing) ID plan yet. What do I need to do now to ensure I’m not paying for 2 contracts? Also, how do I transfer my existing mobile number please? Thanks,Laura

I received an email to say ‘Although the product you ordered is currently out of stock or on 'pre-order', we’re expecting it shortly, so it should be with you soon.’ as these are xmas presents can you update me on their status. Swapping within ID

Hi.A few months ago I bought a sim card monthly tariff and now I have bought a phone and tarrif sim card.How can I use my old number with my new phone and sim card? I tried doing the pac code and ID said it needed to be another network.Please help :(

Poor Signal whilst driving

HelloMy signal has been getting worse and worse, especially in the last 3-4 months. ive been with ID for a few years now and havent changed phone (iphone 11). I often drive around the north side of the M25 and now i cant hold a call for more than a couple of minutes and during the call the quality is extremely bad. I usually only get 3g signal and its usually only 1 bar, but i used to get 4g and the calls in that area had no problems. Looking online the signal should be great. Ive tried resetting my phone network settings and it hasnt made a difference.What can i do?

Does the Pixel 6 on a contract with ID come with an unlockable bootloader?

I intend to install a custom OS (grapheneos) on a pixel 6, not sure if I should get it straight from google or from iD.Some carriers prevent the bootloader from being unlocked on contract phones, so I thought I’d check first.

Faulty Phone

I just recieved my Pixel 6 Pro and it is faulty. There is a scratch on the screen and a wierd display issue when you touch the power button. I used text chat and was told my only option is to cancel my contract and return the phone. But as my PAC doesnt go through for a few days I would lose the number I have had for years. And if I wait for the number change to go through the black friday prices will have expired.I went into Currys and they couldnt do an exchange because of a pricing issue between carphone warehouse offers and ID online offers and lack of stock in the colour of phone I like.So basically I just want my phone replaced or repaired and to continue the contract i purchased but that doesnt seem to be an option.Is there anything I can do? Honesty it feels like I am getting treated pretty badly for recieving a faulty phone.

Very bad signal (one bar), unstable internet connection.

Lately ~4 weeks I’ve been having very bad signal, 1 bar everywhere in city, sometimes if I’m lucky I get 2 bars, and the internet is very unstable, it feel like a bad dial-up speed, the ms response time on  speed test sometimes is over 2000ms which is outrageous, in past was a steady 3-4 ms. My phone is an S20 Plus, tested sim in a Galaxy J3, and an Iphone 11, all have 1 bar signal, added an EE sim for test, and all 3 phones get full signal strengh, so phone is not the problem. Also reseting network on phone didn’t fix anything.Tried to set phone manually on 2G & 3G, same story, 1 bar signal. According to Improve Mobile Coverage | Check Mobile Coverage | iD Mobile Network  there shouldn’t be any issue in my area, Northampton, NN12ET, NN32PR, NN27JE, NN45FB. Edit: An admin, please move this in right category.

Just joined - when will I star getting billed?

Hello  I just joined ID mobile, and the phone I ordered isn’t expected to ship until 31st December. Am I right in assuming the contract won’t start/I won’t be billed until I actually have my phone?I have to give 30 days notice to my old network to cancel and trying to make sure I won’t be without a contract if I give it too early.ThanksSarah
