Unexpected result with divert

I have my phone set to divert to my landline if “busy”.I have also set the “call waiting” option so that the only time my phone should react as “busy” is if I positively decline a call.However sometimes when someone calls my mobile number  it immediately goes to my landline without my phone ringing.I don’t understand why this is happening. I live in a poor signal area and the phone tends to switch itself in and out of WiFi calling mode. I wonder whether this has something to do with it.

Text Messages Not Sending

Hi,I can no longer send text messages. I get error “Couldn’t send message.”I can receive texts.   I could send them untill last night. My signal is good. I’m a long standing customer with the same phone number for years.  I have not changed or replaced my SIM card.I’ve restarted my phone twice.What can I do, please?Thanks,John.

Error 38

So I’ve been able to receive texts this morning but can’t send any, Error 38, which looks to be a network issue. How can i get messages though and still not be able to send as soon as i receive one and why are some advised to do a network reset?

Student Beans Discount Didnt Work

I tried to access this student beans discount: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/student-discount-sim which is £15 a month for unlimited data, calls and texts. I logged onto my student beans account and clicked “get discount”. The page reloaded, however nothing entered my cart. I ended up purchasing a 24 month contract for £16 because I could not figure out how to access this deal :(.

Iphone 13 Out Of Stock

I have ordered an IPhone 13 on 26th November and later got an email to say “the product you ordered is currently out of stock or on 'pre-order', we’re expecting it shortly, so it should be with you soon.”  however I have had payment taken and have had no more contact regarding my phone.

Can’t send texts to android users

Hi everyone,I’m using ID for nearly one month now. Had no problem so far, but today when tried to reply to a text, it said Not Delivered, then tried different people and same problem. I’ve then activated both my phone number and email address in message settings and now I can send iMessages to iPhone users, but still nothing on android. I’ve got a iPhone 11, and previously had a 2 years contract with a different provider. I’ve kept my old number and portated to ID. I tried all the other steps that I could ( also looked at the other iPhone user who had same problem about 7 months ago…Can someone please help as I don’t know what’s the cause of this happening. Also I haven’t upgraded to IOS15, as my phone is 2 years old and possibly might make it work slower.Many thanks Paul.C

Issue after update - unable to text from android to iPhone

I hope someone can help!I updated my Samsung S21 during night and now I can only send texts to android phones (i can still recieve texts)! When I try text iphone users it says "can't send message with ID - error 0'This has only happened since the update.Hoping someone can help.

Can't send texts - Sony Xperia 5ii

Hello, I'm having issues this morning with my phone. I've tried sending texts to 2 people. Zero emojis in these texts, just a plain text. Comes up with a red error message 'not sent, tap to try again' and sometimes 'error 38' message as well. I have unlimited texts, so I'm not sure why it's not sending? My data works fine, but texting won't work. Anyone able to help at all? Thank you.

Cannot send text messages

Messages can be received but not sent. I’ve tried the suggestions in other similar posts including reset but still not working. I’ve put the sim in another phone but still not working. I can use another sim from another network fine but my ID sim is the one not sending texts.

phone cancelled before set up and still charged.

Hi . Ordered the wrong phone by mistake for my wife . When phone arrived I returned it to Currys the next day to cancel it . Today I'm getting g billed for £24.84 for a phone and sim that never left its packaging.  WHY

Unable to send text message

I have been sending texts to my boyfriend since last year with no problems but now my messages aren't sending. I can receive text/calls and make phone calls to him but my texts are failing to send. I have tried resetting network settings and deleting his number and adding it back but none of this has worked! Please help! He has an iPhone with a different network and I have a Samsung, this has never caused problems before.

Existing phone number has not ported across

Hi,My phone number was supposed to have been ported over from my previous supplier (Vodafone) yesterday but this has only partially worked.I can make / receive calls on ID mobile using my ported number but text messages to same number are not being received, instead they are still being routed to my old Vodafone SIM. Also in my iphone settings, it is showing the original ID phone number in ‘My Number’ not the ported number.Also with my Vodafone SIM I can make calls using my ported number but I can’t receive on this number so the Vodafone SIM has nit been deactivated.It seems like the number transfer has only partially worked and is in limbo between the 2 providers.I have tried (twice) to get assistance via liv chat but no-one is offering any help. Your “customer service” (quotes are intentional) is absolutely appalling! No phone support, why?!?I would like this resolved this TODAY as currently my phone service is split between 2 providers and I am (presumably) paying twice for the same

A week since PAC port and old number still hasn’t ported!

Hi, from Vodafone started porting process to ID on Monday 29th Nov. The following day I called Vodafone who confirmed port was in progress and by lunchtime my old SIM stopped working. The number is now not recognised when you call it. So far so good...However my new ID sim has not changed, I have had 3 online chats with customer services who reassure me there is a ‘delay’ and ID are working hard to progress my request, but it feels like a generic response and no-one seems to actually look into my case specifically or escalates to tech support for example.I’m just told to wait for a text stating process complete, but it is yet to materialise.It has been a week now, which feels well past a ‘delay’, is this normal? Can anyone help me escalate this? Thanks!

I was able to send sms messages yesterday, this morning they will not send. I have a moto G8 and have checked all the settings on the phone, I have tried the suggestions on the google help page but still no luck Is there a problem with the network that would cause this?

i have just switched to iDMobile from Vodafone. i have requested to switch switch my number. the iDmobile number is not working and my old vodafone account seems still to be active. how can i find out status as i cannot register or anything. This was supposed to be complete yesterday.

when does the 14 day period start

When does the 14 day period start from? I ordered from The ID mobile website and phone was delivered yesterday. I tried to return it today in a Currys store as it advised on the website I could do within 14 days. But the person I spoke to said i was over the 14 days as this starts from when I placed the order.  The phone was out of stock, which is why I have just received it. I know I can return by post, but I am reluctant to do that because of the value of the phone the postage cost is high.
