proof of ownership and usage needed

Hi i need to make a claim to my mobile insurance during to having a broken screen. I need proof of ownership and proof of usage how do I please get these documents asap thanks!

old number

 I am an existing ID customer. I wanted to upgrade my contract from a Sim-only deal to a 24 month contract to get a new phone. Every time I tried to get a phone it told me to log in which made my basket empty. Every time I then selected a phone I would no longer be logged in. I literally could not select a phone logged into my account. I thought that wouldn’t matter because surely you’d be able to let me keep my same number as I’m already a part of your network, or you could update one of the two contracts so it is the correct price with the correct amount of data etc. and then just cancel the other contract. Can this be done?If not, then please message me the details on how to return my phone and cancel this contract as it is within the 30 day period. I will then take the £1,000+ I was willing to spend over 24 months and give it to Three as clearly iD doesn’t want it if it won’t allow me to simply keep my number with a new contract

Can you upgrade 60 days before your eligibility date?,

My eligibility date to upgrade is from the 20/05/2022 but my actual contract ends around July time. I know you're able to upgrade 60 days before the minimum term so is the minimum term the same as the eligibility date? So instead of me upgrading 60 days before July would I be able to upgrade 60 days before the 20/05? If that makes sense

paid twice manually

Hi, I've paid this month twice  I just forgot I'd paid, then got a reminder the bill was due so paid again. Will this just get carried over, so I won't pay next month? I'm quite happy to do that.

Upgrading Iphone for a Christmas - keeping it a secret

Hi, my daughter currently has an iPhone 6 with an ID Mobile contract. It is under my email address as I pay the bills etc. My question is: I want to buy her an upgrade to an IPhone 12 for Christmas but I don’t obviously want her to receive any form of notification telling her this has been done. What exactly will happen with regards to notifications if I go ahead and place the order for a new phone? Will she get a notification on her current phone etc.?  Thanks.

Placed an order for a 24 month contract, but i how do i know if its been accepted/ Approved?

Hello,I am switching to ID mobile from my current network and i have recently placed an order for the iPhone 13 mini. I am aware that it was out of stock when i ordered which is fine, but how do i know if it has even been approved? I have paid the upfront fee but i have not received any confirmation that i have actually been approved for the contract. I placed the order on the 4th of December.The last email i got on the 5th of December said:We’re still processing your order.Although the product you ordered is currently out of stock or on 'pre-order', we’re expecting it shortly, so it should be with you soon.In the meantime we’re going to prepare your order by running your credit check and taking payment (but only if your order requires it).Thank you for choosing iD, and please be assured that we’re working hard to supply your product as soon as we possibly can.Regards,The iD TeamI have not heard anything since so i am still unsure where i stand with this.Cheers

Failing to meet credit check criteria - any suggestions please?

I had seen several old topics regarding failing to meet credit check criteria, but wondered if anyone had any recent experience to help my husband understand why he’s been refused a cheap phone contract.My husband has been trying to purchase an Alcatel 3L on a £12.99 monthly contract.  He had an email telling him he had failed to meet the credit check criteria.  After a lengthy Live Chat conversation he was told he failed because he hadn’t set up a Direct Debit (he had).  The operator cancelled the original order and told him to try again.  He reordered but this was also rejected - a further lengthy Live Chat ended with him being told to wait a month before trying again.  He was pretty fed up by this stage so entered into the online Complaint process which turned out to be another lengthy Live Chat and nothing at all to do with Complaints!.  He was told to phone and register his complaint and he would get a telephone reply within five days - he’s still waiting.Has anyone had any succes

accidentally bought 2 phones

I bought one phone iPhone 11 ( was at the processing details stage) and then it crashes, went back on and I had no emails etc showing it went through so I tried again and bought the phone again, now it says on my bank that I’ve been charged the £0.01 for both but I only want one phone, how can I stop the other transaction going through.they’re currently both in pending at the moment. I am not on a plan with ID mobile so I can’t have a live chat, I am only buying a Sim free phone. Can I please have conformation and proof I won’t be charged twice

Not receiving texts

Hi, I just switched from Vodafone. And I'm not getting important text messages. I tried removing sim card, switching my phone on and off. I still can't get them. Please help. I've never had this problem before with Vodafone. Phone calls are working ok. I have Samsung galaxy phone. Thank you.

Cancelled contract, final bill is wrong and no refund on upfront cost

I purchased a pay monthly phone plan on 15/11/2021. I then cancelled this contract in UNDER 14days and you confirmed as received on 26/11/2021 (11days)I got a final bill of £28.94… I’m unsure how it is so high as the phone plan was £43.99, I hadn’t even taken it out of the packaging or used a SIM card.  So it is extremely high for 11days  I contacted via live chat to express my concerns, who told me to ignore that final bill and it was still being processed and I would get another final bill. it’s now 09/12/2021. I still don’t have a correct final bill (although I’m within my 14day cooling off period so I believe there should be zero charge on the account)!  I haven’t seen a paper copy come through the post either! ANDI am still waiting for a refund of £49 that I paid upfront for the cost of the phonePlease update meApril

unable to make calls

Since yesterday I've been unable to make outgoing calls. My bills are up to date, I have unlimited calls, texts and data. It's just silence when I try to ring out. I've had the contract for a few months with no problems up until now.  I can make calls on WhatsApp but that doesn't help ringing landlines which I have to do for work.  I've been on the chat bot on the ID app three times in 24h and they haven't been able to help.

purchased iphone black friday deal no update

I ordered a iPhone 13 pro deal around Black Friday with expected delivery for the 7th of December. got my email to say that my order was received and I would be updated when the phone is sent out.this was the last email I got over 2 weeks ago and since then I feel I've just been left in the dark.I am at the end of my current contract which is now going to cost me an additional months cost as I was hoping to have my new contract sorted out by the end of November.I was under the impression the sim would have been sent out and I could have atleast got this up and running until the iPhone arrived.ifI don't understand why the sim can't be sent out and even an update to say that you are still awaiting stock if that's the issue ?unfortunately not a good start for a new customer

still being billed for a returned phone

I ordered a phone from a third party website on an ID contract. I got a message back saying it was out of stock and would t be fulfilled. A week later the phone arrived but I sent it back. I am now being billed for the contract by ID.

Scam query

I’ve been contacted by someone who says they are in ID Mobile’s CEO office. They say that a mobile number has been incorrectly ported onto on of my ID Mobile accounts. The account is showing up with both the original number and the new incorrect number. The person from the CEO’s office says that I will lose my original number and has asked me for permission to give the incorrectly ported number back to ID mobile to give to correct customer. I have said that I am very unhappy at losing my number and have asked them to investigate this further. They have offered me a golden number and financial compensation for the loss of my number. I have checked through the live chat and they say the person who has contacted me does work at ID Mobile and has put notes on my account about this. But still could this be a scam to take over my original number? Has anyone experienced a simliar situation. Thanks

When I used some of the mobile numbers a few times, they seem to be blocked not by myself but by the system. How to correct the error by the system unblocking the numbers I tried to ring?

Sim not blocked

My phone has no service. (The phone is not the issue).  Sim seems to be blocked but app doesn’t say blocked.  Option to block sim in services doesn’t even work, and claims sim was last unblocked on 1st December.  Help

Cancelling 30-day contract

I have just purchased a 30-day rolling sim-only deal with unlimited data. I only need to use this SIM for 1 month. How do I make sure this is cancelled after the first 30 days and that I am not charged beyond this?
