poor network connection

Having big problems with connecting to internet.my area has 4g. With ok to good bars showing on my Google pixel 8. Often have unusable data connection. Also phone calls can only happen if I'm in my garden as it cuts out regularly, but I have to  move about so the person can still hear me. Not happy.

Try the following:

  1. Use the link below to check both coverage in your area and to find out about any ongoing network maintenance activities or outages in your area.

  2. Reset mobile network settings
  3. Request a replacement SIM/eSIM
  4. Try your SIM in a different device

If all of the above fail to resolve your issues, then take advantage of iD Mobiles returns window and switch to a network that offers better coverage at your location.

Ip38bs. I travel around the UK and whales often. There are many issues with the network..often the coverage is good but it will still not deliver a simple website for me. I'm a lorry driver and often have to do my home admin in the lorry. I often can't open web browsers. It often a suprise when it works normally it's that bad. But mostly annoying at home. Phone calls drop out regularly when driving and at home it's really a struggle even in the garden I have to keep moving around to keep the signal. Id say it's a 50%chance I get a good enough signal to game or use the internet normally at home. Fibre has been bought now because I can't get a reliable connection. So that's a £30 monthly bill I didn't want. Total rubbish.

Apparently I have excellent 4g coverage, yet I can't get expectable internet until after 9pm.. I tried to update my a game on Xbox and it took probably 3 hours spread over two weekends to update 36 percent before I gave up. I'm going to have ago at using my old mobile to see if it helps. But I really am not expecting it to work.
