How do I return my order?

Changed your mind? No problem. The returns process depends on where you bought your item. Select your retailer below to get started.

 

Bought directly from iD Mobile?

 

If you bought your plan or phone on idmobile.co.uk or over the phone with our sales team, you have 30 days to let us know you want to return it. Please check the section that matches your order below:

 

Pay Monthly Phone Plans:

  1. Contact us: Chat to us to request a return.
  2. Get your details: We will give you a unique Return Transaction Number and the correct returns address. Please do not send your phone until you have these details.
  3. Pack it up: You must return the item in its original condition with the original packaging. You must include:
    • Proof of purchase (receipt or invoice).
    • All accessories and manuals.
    • Any free gifts included with the purchase.
  4. Post it: Send it to the address we provided. You will need to cover the cost of postage.

 

Please note:

  • You have 14 calendar days to return your items starting from the day you notify us.
  • You are responsible for any line rental, usage, and add-on charges up to the point of disconnection.
  • Any upfront cost paid for the phone will be refunded once the return is complete.

 

SIM Only Plans:

  1. Contact us: Chat to us to cancel your agreement.
  2. Dispose of the SIM: Once we confirm the cancellation, simply cut up the SIM card safely or delete the eSIM from your phone. You do not need to post it back to us.

 

Please note: You are responsible for any line rental, usage, and add-on charges accrued up to the point of disconnection.

 

Pay As You Go SIMs:

Simply chat to us to return your SIM. There is no charge for returning it and no minimum term applies.

 

Please note: Any remaining credit on your account cannot be refunded.

 

SIM Free Phones & Accessories:

  1. Contact us: Chat to us to request a return.
  2. Get your details: We will give you a Return Transaction Number and the shipping address. Do not post the item until you have these.
  3. Pack it up: Include your proof of purchase, original packaging, accessories, and any free gifts.
  4. Post it: You will need to cover the cost of postage.

Bought from Currys?

 

If you bought your iD Mobile plan in a Currys store or on the Currys website, you have 14 days to return your order.

Please visit a Currys store or check the Currys website for their specific returns procedure.

 

Bought from Carphone Warehouse or Mobiles.co.uk?

 

If you bought your plan via Carphone Warehouse or Mobiles.co.uk, you have 14 days to return your order.

Please contact the retailer directly to arrange your return.

 

My device is faulty.

 

If your phone develops a fault, the steps depend on when you bought it:

  • Within the first 30 days:
    If you bought directly from iD Mobile, chat to us and we'll arrange an exchange.
    If you bought elsewhere (Currys, CPW, Mobiles.co.uk), please contact them directly for an exchange.
  • After 30 days:
