Hello all. Hoping for some help if possible please.I recently switched over to ID from EE and received my temporary number. I successfully ported my old number  and the correct number is showing on the sim card setting etc. however, I was told today that people I’ve been texting have been receiving messages from my temp ID number and not my actual number. I’ve tried absolutely every option on here but nothing seems to work. I am unable to edit the SIM card number,I tried turning off RCS (which just resulted in no texts sending at all) and I’ve tried taking out the sim and placing it back in etc. I am using an android phone and still having no luck. I just want my normal number, and not my temp ID one when I’m texting others  if anyone knows how to fix this I would appreciate any help. Thanks!

Hi all. I closed all 3 of my id mobile accounts in september, and settled all of them in full. Since september on a monthly basis id mobile have been issuing non payment reports on my credit file for £1 even though all my accounts are settled. Has anyone else had the same issue? Ive raised it as a complaint but as yet have not heard back. Not sure how to resolve this. Thanks all.  

I charge for phone call abroad. I do not call anyone on this date. 09.11.2025 and 11.11.2925.Please explain this?

Since moving from EE  it’s becoming increasingly frustrating I am unable to use the phone for any sort of browsing texts or calls. When I do a speed test at home while I’m getting 2 bars of 5G coverage it won’t load up web pages, the speed test came back at 6mbps which is ridiculous for what was advertised. It used to be in the hundreds with EE, internet used to be instant. I’m constantly getting calls dropping and texts not coming through. Confirmation codes to log onto sites don’t come through which has been a nightmare for me. It’s not just at home. I went to Meadowhall even on a quiet evening it was impossible to use my phone at all, recently in York it was the same. Couldn’t even load maps, I was lost! It’s just happening far too often it’s not usable. I want to know if this contract can be ended early I want to go back to a good network I feel absolutely scammed.

I took out a contract with iD mobile for unlimited texts and minutes, 500gb of data and an iPhone 17. I checked coverage beforehand and there was excellent 4G in my area.  Delivery of the handset was quick and it was easy to get my number switched over. Unfortunately, that was the only positive part of my experience with iD, which is still dragging on.  I had my previous (giffgaff) SIM card in my new (iD) handset for a few days until my number was switched over - no problems with coverage etc at all. As soon as I switched to iD and started using their network, I had issues - completely unpredictable data availability that occasionally worked fine but more often than not had period of between 10 minutes and 2 hours where nothing that needed internet worked at all.  I tried to contact id repeatedly and their chatbot just took me in circles. I tried to raise a complaint via their complaints form - but on clicking submit, was redirected to the chatbot and so still unable to contact anyone.

I ported my number from o2 on 31st January. Calls are going to voicemail without ringing which is driving me mad as I have service according to my phone. I’ve tried restarting my phone, turning the e-sim off and on but to no avail. How do I resolve this? 

I haven’t been able to receive SMS text messages, though I can still send iMessages and texts. Last night, this left me in a really vulnerable situation—I couldn’t get a verification code to book a taxi home when public transport wasn’t running. I’m really disappointed this happened and honestly feel lucky that nothing worse happened. Being alone in that situation as a young woman was stressful and unsafe. I’d appreciate it if this issue could be fixed as soon as possible, and I’d like to discuss compensation for the trouble and risk this caused. Please let me know when I can expect a resolution.

Hi everyone I need some help. I’m new to this forum. over the last 2 weeks I’ve been struggling to make calls and receive calls. When I do a full reset it allows me to make a call but soon after revert back to the same old thing. My wife and daughter have the same ID and are the same.  we have the latest update and have iPhone 16 pro any help would be great

I recently got a new phone with an eSIM rather than a physical SIM. Both times I have gone abroad (Spain and Ireland) I get the text saying I am in a roaming country but my phone fails to pick up a data network. The phone keeps fluctuating between “no connection” and whichever network it is trying to get on. Not only does this mean I don’t have a data connection when it is the time I most need one but trying to connect all the time drains the battery massively. Everything is fine again once I am back in the UK. Any suggestions please?

Good morning  I have no WiFi calling for the last month or so. I have reset network and tried updating carrier setting by visiting my local store and my WiFi calling still does not work. My phone is a iPhone 16, ID carrier settings is 64.2. the other issue is at home I have 0 signal so cannot make a phone call without WiFi calling. 

I placed an upgrade order yesterday, but on my account I'm still being offered upgrade deals, and there doesn't seem to be a record of my order anywhere on my account. Has something happened that I'm unaware of? I have an order number, etc. Many thanks. 

Ive finished my contract but would like to stay on I.D mobile but I dont need a new phone. I only want to have a sim only contract but struggling to find how to do so Any help would be amazingThank you 😊

Really disappointing customer services. Apparently the customer services support is now closed, despite me trying to contact them within the company stated office core hours. Apparently the porting has happened from Vodafone to my new phone with ID mobile. This is not the situation. Neither phone will make calls or receive them. I received an email to state the new service would be active from 22:00. I have taken part in numerous chat bot and customer service chats without this matter been resolved. I do not have a QR code to scan to activate the new eSIM. I was told I would receive an email once the activation was complete. That was three days ago.  I have been going round in circles for days!!

Can't receive caĺls from Vodafone network users since switching to ID Mobile. Checked all settings, taken SIM out and tried in other phone but still doesn't work

Every time I call my mum's mobile I get cut off at approximately the two minute mark.Any idea what is going on please?

New to this, bear with me. Been with ID for last 12 months. Having connectivity problems, whereas use 4g and home WiFi, connects up, but within 10 mins loses connectivity. Messaged live chat 5 hours ago, and apart from the “routing you to an agent” and awaiting for complaints team, to call me back after I phoned them, where do I go from here. Turned on and off the the airplane mode and reset the WiFi settings. thanks in anticipation. 

Hi,I am unable to receive SMS messages in Vietnam as my ID mobile sim card will not connect to any of the local mobile networks in Vietnam. I tried the automatic and manual selection method, and it shows all local networks as forbidden. This is only a recent problem and searching through the community it appears that I am not the only person this is happening to,Please help as this is a big problem for banking etc when I cannot receive OTPs etc.

Oops... something went wrong.  Please try again. - I was trying to enter a PAC to move from one provider to another. I kept getting this answer, I have waited for days, changed internet browers, switched the laptop on/off, deleted cookies, and nothing is working. Also, would be nice to be able to speak to someone about it….

I began a contract on the 29th of December and submitted my PAC. My number should've ported yesterday but it didn't. I think it is very odd that I didn't receive a message from my old provider saying they're sorry I'm leaving them. I have submitted a report on the app, but I don't think iD are porting my number. Please can someone explain if my number is still being ported?

It’s not possible to register for an ID Mobile account online for a new customer because there’s a glitch in the ID Moblie website, which comes up with that annoying message ‘Oops something’s gone wrong’. Very irritating. Usual crap.
