I see quite a few posts about offers of upgrades and not seeing the models people want. It must be difficult for a phone company with hundreds of thousands of customers to know what deals, models, brands each and every individual customer would like to see in their offers list. I am not sure how easy it would be but I had a thought about a solution, what about a flag system? Each customer can mark their top 3 favourite model phones from a list of possible upgrades with an optional free text box, if your favourite phone is not listed, then you choose your ideal price range, for example £40 - £70 per month £0 - £100 upfront cost - whatever. This can be sent as an online request or pinged on the app like 3 months before your plan upgrade date, that way I.D can then plan contract offers based on what you would like as a customer, based on models that are available at the time of your individual plan upgrade. The customer gets more tailored deals

Waited till the end of contract, and now being told I cannot move to a SIM only deal, but must take a new phone upgrade. Only option I have is to move to another mobile operator. Went on live chat and they confirmed that only option is to upgrade phone at inflated prices, and supposedly I could have moved to a SIM only 21 days before contract end date.This seems ridiculous as I now must leave to get a SIM only deal, and I'd lose a customer !!!

I'm currently on a sim only deal but want more data per month. I can upgrade to a new sim card or change my current plan. If I change my current plan it's £2 a month more. Is there a way if getting the upgrade monthly price by changing my plan?

Hi, I’m not sure but I think my contract with my IPhone 15 is due to end in November 2026.I do actually like the Galaxy 24/25/26 Ultra.Which is the best/cheapest way to get the Galaxy phone, can I sell my iPhone , do I need to pay off my existing contract?Just not sure how the best way to make these changes happen.Any help would be appreciated please.  

I have an Honor Magic 6 contract with ID that runs out in less than 30 days.Carphone warehouse had a brilliant offer on the Magic 8 so I have started a new contract with ID as I was not eligible for an upgrade.I have received the new phone and now want pay off the old contract, and to transfer my number.The support help is misleading, some say it is not possible, some say you can triangulate the number by getting a PAC, moving the number to another SIM that isn't ID, and then moving it to the new phone.Please can somebody confirm if this method will work for me?I have had this number for over 15 years and can't comprehend how I cannot move it from ID to ID... But I could have if I upgraded with them...

I've seen an offer on a price comparison site with iD but I'm not getting that offer for my upgrade.I've tried calling the 08000490250 but it's not giving me the option to speak to someone. Also, it's not accepting the Customer Service pin even though I got it from my app.Please help 😩

I’ve been trying to get an answer from ID mobile but they just keep repeating terms and conditions/copy & paste type replies. This is just a question about upgrading before the standard upgrade date. Scenario 1:I’ve been on a 24 month contract and I’m a few months off my upgrade date but I want to upgrade today (this is all theoretical). If I want to I can move to a different provider, get a new phone, transfer my phone number and pay the early-exit/contract-termination fee. Say, for example, £100. In this scenario ID Mobile have received £100 and lost a customer.Scenario 2:As above but I ask ID Mobile if I can pay the early-exit fee (£100), stay with them and upgrade my phone.In this scenario ID Mobile have received £100 and kept a customer.Of either of those scenarios, scenario 2 is clearly better from a business perspective for ID Mobil

I have a 24 month contract which ends today. I looked on my account two days ago to see options for sim only but I could only see the option to upgrade. I asked someone who has recently switched to sim only after an ID contract ended and he said he just added the plan to the ID cart through uswitch and checked out on the ID website and it switched automatically. But now ID is sending me a new sim and I don’t know if I can use a PAC code within a network. There is also now the option to switch to sim only when I log in, so I'm thinking I've made a mistake. If I can use a PAC I will but I'm thinking I'll have to cancel this order at this point and then switch the normal way.  I wouldn't have done any of this but I had no indication that sim only options would appear only on the day the contract ended, I thought if I waited this long to change it then I'd get charged an extra month at full price. What should I do here? What’s the process of cancelling a sim

Hi there, I’ve just taken a mobile contract and have an account to login to now.What I want, is to easily bring across my 2 children’s sims over to this network also but there doesn’t seem to be an easy option?When I try to do it via the ‘buy a sim only’ it seems to want to go off a perform a credit search again - I really don’t want to have to bombard my credit score with a tonne of searches. Is there an easier way?Thank you!

I have just tried to upgrade my SIM only contract to a Samsung S25 Ultra and have been told I am not eligible for this phone.This is despite having 2 phone contracts and a SIM contract on my account, this seems a ridiculous stand.Is it necessary for me to.leave ID to get the phone I would like, as I would rather leave than sign up for a contract I wasn't happy with.I hope you can help

I bought a new phone for my daughter for Christmas, so I had to take out a new ID mobile contract rather than upgrade from her existing ID mobile one, so she wouldn’t know.  I thought I’d just be able to transfer her old number to the new phone with a PAC but I can’t find an option to do that - help?

How do I switch my pay as you go plan to monthly bills please without changing my number?

I am in USA and Colombia for Christmas and New Year. I have purchased a Roaming Beyond data package for the States but my brother in law has bought me a local SIM so I don’t need the data any more. However, I will need the data when I’m in Colombia eight days from now. Is it possible to move the plan from the one country and dates to the other? They cost the same.

I've been on a SIM only contract for several years, using a phone which is now out of support. I checked in the app, and was offered an upgrade to a phone package that looked like it was worth taking, so filled in all the details, including CC details for the initial payment. Email and texts received stating the order is bring processed.Next day I get an email asking me to call the sales line, as there is an issue with the order. Initial comment was that there is no stock of my chosen phone colour, so is black okay. "Not an issue, I'll take the black - can you confirm when it will be shipped?" Now all of a sudden, they have to cancel that order, but I can go for a much lower specification phone instead - which one would I like? "Pardon? What is going on here?"Eventually got to the bottom of this apparent bait-and-switch scam. ID do not allow upgrades that more than double your monthly cost, for "reasons", so all I can do is take out a new contract, with all the nonsens
