Thinking about shaking up your allowances? Here’s the lowdown on changing your plan.

What’s the difference between a Plan Change and an Upgrade?

  • Plan Change: You keep your current phone, but pick a different monthly cost and allowances (data/minutes).
  • Upgrade: You sign a new contract to get a brand-new phone and a new plan.

Looking for an upgrade instead? Check out the article below:

Am I eligible to change my plan?

You can change your plan if:

  • You’ve been with us for more than 30 days.
  • You haven’t changed plans within the last 31 days.
  • You have an active Direct Debit set up.
  • You don’t have a disconnection request pending.

Can I choose a cheaper plan?

  • Pay Monthly Phone & 12-month SIM Only: If you are still within your minimum contract term, you cannot switch to a cheaper plan. You can only switch to a plan with more data/higher cost. Once your minimum term is over, you can move to a cheaper plan.
  • 30-Day SIM Only: Yes, you can move up or down in price whenever you like.

Ready to switch? Check out our step-by-step guide:

Please note: You can't switch a SIM card from PAYG to Pay Monthly (or vice-versa). You'll need to purchase a new plan and SIM card.

Why change my plan?

Changing your plan is perfect if:

  • You need more data: Running low every month? Switching to a bigger plan is usually cheaper than buying add-ons.
  • You want to save money: If you're on a 30-day SIM Only deal (or your minimum contract term has ended), switch to a cheaper plan to lower your monthly bill.
  • You're happy with your phone: Contract ended but your phone still works perfectly? Switch to a low-cost SIM Only deal until you're ready to upgrade.

Please note: Changing your plan does not extend your minimum contract length. If you try a new plan and don't like it, you can switch again after 31 days.
