Unable to send MMS messages

Hello,  Could someone please advise / help me ?

I have tried sending MMS messages to a few of my contacts but i keep getting this message

“Message not sent:service not activated on network  Check options”

Could someone please Help!!

    Is your bill cap high enough to support MMS charges?

    MMS messages would each be 55p*.

    You may be better using a service such as Whats App to send MMS?
