Why is it so hard to cancel a contract?

I need to cancel the contract on the phone (in my name) that my granddaughter uses. The phone is smashed and the sim card lost (I’ve blocked the sim card). I have spent most of the morning trying to find a way to do this, the bot is worse than useless, I tried the ringing the 03 number only to be cut off after 4 minutes. I followed a link here in the community only for it be blocked/broken. So, if anybody could advise it would really help as this is urgent.

twi sims different phones - one iD SIM works the other doesn't

me and wife has a phone each both in ID SIMS WHILST OUT at oneparticular place my wife gets a signal i dont my phone is  a S9 hers is a newish samsung i have had a new sim as i requested one and the signal is still the same,when i goto select netwok manually id not there only two other network  providersso im at a loss

Phone not in stock

I recently orderd a phone but then got an email soon after saying it was out of stock and will arrive in store shortly. I was wondering if there is anyway I can change my order to a phone which you do have in stock or cancel my order.

Im having problems registering

I am trying to register but it wont let me. I am using the number given on the information sent to me and I am obviously using my correct name and date of birth but it still keeps telling me that some of the information is incorrect. How do I register?

Android to Android text shows wrong number

i had an iphone on vodafone, i ported my old number over. when i text to an iphone from my new samsung A71, it shows my ported number(yay!) BUT when i text android to android it shows the temporary  number. please can anyone help?

Cant access my Id mobile

Hi I recently cancelled my ee monthly subscription with a phone number i merged with this id mobile contract because I was paying for 2 monthly payments when I didn't need to and now I cant access my id mobile app to pay my monthly contract because that phone number isn't accessible. What do I do?

Data Roaming not working in Germany

I have recently moved to Germany from the UK and my calls and texts are working but my mobile data isn’t. I have already configured the APN settings and my data roaming is enabled on my phone and on the ID app. Nothing seems to be working. Is there anything else I can try?

Retained number

I have been really frustrated trying to get to the bottom of his ‘simple ’query. About 10 days or so ago my iD contract ended and I decided to go for iD Sim only.I now find that I am unable to receive calls to my phone, apparently my number has been changed.I do not want the number changed I want the old number back.CHAT was no use at all, preferring to change me to Pay as you go, Why?/If I don’t have my old number back I shall seek an alternative provider, fed up of trying to get to speak to someone at iD. You are supposed to be a PHONE company, but apparently you don’t us PHONES.

How/when to cancel my plan?

Hello,I want to leave ID as my data signal is very bad in my area.I am unsure exactly when to cancel my plan however. On the app, it says I am eligible for an upgrade on 9th November. I read also that it says I have to give 30 days notice.However, if I try to cancel my plan, it says I have to pay £88.64 to cancel…I just want the contract to end at the end of the agreed length (which I think was 24 months) so how do I give 30 days notice without having to pay a charge for asking to cancel 30 days before the end of the contract….?I also want to get a PAC code so that I can use this number with a new provider.

I cant make or receive calls

I have moved from another network over the weekend and supplied PUC code to transfer to new network. It's now Tuesday and my phone has a message SiM not provisioned for calls. Amy ideas? Thanks

Mobile data stopped working iPhone SE

My data hasn’t worked for the last month, I’ve just renewed and have 10.00 GB usage left but it’s not working. I tried to just use 3G and have restarted my phone but still no use. I’m currently living in Leeds (LS6), don’t know if that makes a difference.

How do I contact ID or someone that can deal with my account?

Hi there,I have an issue with my ID mobile billing that I really need to talk to someone about urgently.  I have tried the the ‘live chat’ but it has now button:I have even tried the complaints page, but again - no button.There is no phone number, other than the automated service and no email address.  Is the a deliberate attempt to ensure that we cannot obtain any customer service?John

Phone cuts off after a while talking

My wife uses my iphone 5S to talk to her friends occasionally at home. However, on more than one occasion the call has been ended/cut off after she has been talking for a while. Is this ID mobile coverage fault. The phone’s fault? Internet provider?

Using iD sim in ipad and NHS covid app

I have just bought a new ipad mini which takes a sim card.I have put my existing iD sim card in and can access the internet etc.I cannot install the NHS covid app as it says my device is not compatible. Anyone any idea why? This was one of the reasons I bought it!Also to make video calls do I need to install a new app? Facetime option for video is greyed out.The user of this ipad will not have a separate phone.

Number not recognised when trying to call

Three times yesterday I telephoned my wife.   We both use the iD network.   On each occasion I received the “number not recognised” message.   These attempts were dialled from my mobile phone contacts list so it wasn’t a typing error and the log shows the attempts.   In the end I had to contact her using WhatsApp which connected first time. On returning home, I tried again and it work flawlessly.   Exactly the same problem has presented itself today. I noted that at least one other person had this problem although I don’t know whether they  are now problem free.   Are you able to provide a remedy please.
