Why no 4G data when roaming in EU country?

Hello, I am on vacation in Romania and not only I have no access to 4G data but the HSDPA+ connection is very choppy - it can't be used for streaming video, nor audio; even browsing the web is a pain as I often got "The page cannot be displayed" message (I have to refresh the page a couple of times for it to correctly load). Premium Texts?

I was online trying to register at zara and an hour later I received a text saying I had subscribed to flash.deals for 1.50 quid. I've tried to send a stop message to the number giver but it says that the text couldn't be sent. I've been charged 4.50 quid for that as well. How do I stop the premium texts? I would also like to get the charges cancelled!

iPhone Not Accepting new SIM

Hi, I've just changed from BT to ID Mobile, on a SIM only deal, using my own second hand iPhone. When I first attempted to put the SIM in the mobile, a messaged showed saying that the phone needed unlocking, however, I find this strange, as the phone isn't locked. It was previously on a different network before I had the phone, but switched to my old BT SIM without issue. To complicate things a bit... In order to Activate the SIM, I put it in another phone and it worked ok. However, when putting it into my iPhone the error has now disappeared, but the phone simply says it has "no sim" (where the network is usually displayed). I have noticed some scratches on the SIM, so don't know if these are causing some of the problems. To summarise: [list] [*]Is there a reason that the SIM wont work on a second hand iPhone 5? I've forgot my password to My iD

I [b]am able[/b] to access it on my Samsung Galaxy J3 2016 model as I got it autofilled on Google Chrome but I am upgrading on the 3rd November 2018 and POSSIBLY won't have a way to access My iD. How do I get this sorted?? I can remember the username for My iD but can't remember my password.

Changing email linked to account

I've set up an account for my mother in law but I've accidentally set up the account with the e-mail that she no longer has access to (its on her old phone and can't log in to it on anything else) and I want to change it to her new e-mail so that she can check the bill and e-mails on her new phone. When I try to log in it just says that its not a valid email address even though I've just bought a phone and received an email from id on it.

Unlock ID iPhone 5s that is no longer in use (number has been ported)

Hi, I have an iPhone 5s that was on ID network but the number has been ported to a new phone on Vodafone. I want to unlock the old iPhone and have contact ID to get this done. I received an acknowledgement email about 10 days ago but it is still locked. How long does this normally take? Thanks, Martin.

Wifi Calling

Why when my phone is set to wifi calling, and the phone shows no network coverage but does show wifi calling on screen can't i make a call? should it not call via wifi?

Can't get data abroad

Hi All, I've recently started with ID mobile but haven't been able to get data abroad in two recent trips to Barcelona. I've followed all the steps listed in the guide to using your phone abroad as well as setting the APN to ID mobile's as suggested in this forum. I've also tried my SIM in my girlfriend's phone with no success whereas her BT SIM works fine in my phone. I'm able to connect to networks and phone/text, just not use my data. Can anyone shed any light on what might be the problem? Many thanks, Archie

Calls from Vectone mobile

My wife and my son have vectone mobile number. They are never able to call me on my iD mobile number. Whenever they try they hear a strange voice saying "hello hello you have reached a cursed number lewis lewis....". I tried calling iD and Vectone both and none of them accept it's their fault. They both ask me to go and check with the other. Has anyone else had this sort of issue? Thanks, Vinit

No email confirmation or SIM after 7 days.

I ordered a new SIM 7 days ago and still haven’t received an email confirming my order, nor have I received the SIM. I was emailed after 2 days saying the SIM would be delayed a few days but that was 5 days ago now. That is the only email I’ve got from iDMobile. The offer I signed up for doesn’t seem to be availabile on your website now.

Messages not getting through

Whenever someone from a particular mobile number has tried to text me it hasn't gotten through. I can send messages to them perfectly fine, but their messages fail to send to me. They can send text messages fine to my brother, who's on the same network (albeit a different phone), so I'm pretty sure it's a problem on my end. I've checked the phone's blocklist and there is no sign of the number on it, so I'm completely stumped on why this is happening and how to solve it. I'd really appreciate any insight and advice you can give. I currently use a Huawei P10 Lite, and it's a fixed contract.

ID charged for calling them

I was in the process of using keep my number and also called ID for another issue. They charged me for the phone call saying I did not use an ID phone however I was calling from one, and they charged me on an ID account so how can they both claim that I was not using an ID phone but charge me on my ID account? I do not want to pay for calling my own service provider, I tried to call customer service who were very poor in helping me. Any advice would be welcome, thanks in advance.

New iD Mobile Nokia doesn't make phone calls...tried for 6 months and no luck!!!!

I have had 3 replacement phones and SIM cards and it worked occasionally, but now won't connect to IDmobile at all. I've been using an old phone to keep me going but very unimpressed by IDMobile and carphonewarehouse not sorting out this problem and not refunding me for not being able to use the phone. I have been back to the shop about a dozen times. Is this a general IDmobile or Nokia issue and should we avoid these brands?

Replacement sim not working

Hi I got a replacement sim for my daughter as her phone had been lost/stolen so her old one was cancelled. I used live chat yesterday to get the sim activated but it’s still not activated. How long does it normally take? Also will she still have the same phone number when it is activated?

Problem With Payment Verification

just tried to make a sim only purchase but when I get to screen for ‘1p’ and card verification I can enter all card details in the boxes [b]except[/b] for the final two boxes asking for the month and year of issue for card, these two boxes refuse to allow details to be entered. As a consequence my Visa/debit payment is refused, having attempted several times to enter details, which I know to be correct my payment is repeatedly refused. I can see From a recent post other people have the same problem. It appears there may be a technical problem with verification page. Can you please advise on the problem? thank you Martin

Having a problem paying my bill

I've been trying to pay my bill via the app and I keep getting an error message? Not sure what the problem is, been doing it this way for 18 months with no issues. Tried the website and got the same message..."An error has occurred, please go back" Not sure what to do next? Be really greatful for anu help anyone can give me.

Dead battery

Hello everyone. Had my contract with ID mobile for 3 years now, windows phone.. The battery appears to have died and is not charging from the original charger or slow charger. A week or so now. Attempted to charge again and phone swelled lightly and cracked screen. Will ID replace the handset? Have been unable to use phone for over a week. Have tried contacting via the web chat but it is continually busy. Thank you if you give any advice.. Failing that I will ring on another phone when available.

Roaming Issue's in Spain

I set my roaming option on before I went to Spain then after speaking to customer service went through the reset of APN settings various times. It didn't work the 1st or 10th time. This impacted on my work as it made it really difficult to check emails. I could only use wifi hotspots and there weren't many where we were staying. I am curious to know that this issue only happened with ID. I have been going to the same place in Spain for years and never had a problem with other providers.
