My calls connect but are silent

I have made and received several calls that connected, but I couldn’t hear the other person and they couldn’t hear me. This started on Wednesday 29th may and affects all voice calls, Landlines and mobiles. Any ideas what has happened.

It’s still saying I’m on my old contract when I’ve upgraded to a new contract on upgrade

WiFi calling not working on incoming calls and texts.

Hi, My phone (iPhone 5s) is set up to WiFi calling and makes perfect out going calls and I am also able to send text messages no problem. The problem I am having is that I can’t receive either when there is no phone reception, (but connected to the WiFi so WiFi calling should work). The calls go straight to voicemail and I don’t pick this up until I am back in mobile reception. Does anyone one have any ideas of how to resolve this? Many thanks.

Error code 28

Unable to text a certain person because of error code 28,can message everyone else on my phone but not this particular person, have restarted my phone and deleted the conversation but no luck, can someone help?

SIM card Active but I have no service

I bought the iPhone XS Max from Carphone Warehouse in April. At the same time, I swapped from another network to a pay-monthly plan with ID, and I swapped my number over. Due to being in hospital I have only just got around to setting up the new phone. However, when I have put the SIM into the phone, I have no service. I tried all of the tips on the website (such as trying aeroplane mode etc) but none of these worked and so I tried to find other ways around this. When I try to activate the sim, it tells me that the sim is already active. When I try to register a new account, it asks me to enter the 8 digit code that has been sent to me, but as I have no service I cannot receive this message. If I try to log in to an account, or enter forgotten password, it tells me to enter a valid email address. I cannot get any service on the phone what-so-ever, and need it ASAP as I am due to go back into hospital and need my phone. Nothing I try seems to work and I need t

No service or poor signal

Hi there, I have used a sim card (Sim number 1) from ID for a couple of years. It works ok with my Motorola Moto G4. I started to use a Pixel 3a with Sim number 1 and it works the same way (never brilliant signal but useable 2~3 bars). I have checked the coverage using your website and it said good. I purchased another sim card (Sim number 2) from ID and arrived on the 30th May 2019. I started to use it my Motorola Mota G4 on the 30th May and it has either no service or poor service (1bar). I put them side by side in different rooms at home. Sim number 1 in the Pixel 3a gives not brilliant but better signal than Sim number 2 in Motorola. For examples, Sim number 1 gives at the least a bar more signal than Sim number 2. Is it possible causing by the contact of the sim card? Thanks, Jill

Can't Message when I am in Hungary

Hello, we recently visited Hungary, and met up with one of my cousins. I could phone him, no problem on his local phone +36nnnnnnn, but could not text him on the same number. My wife's phone (EE) was fine, as was my work phone (Vodaphone). I have Roaming set On, and International set On. I have spoken to support but they could not suggest anything. Any ideas or suggestions. Thanks very much in advance Andrew

Roaming in Europe not working

My Galaxy S9 works perfectly on iD in the UK, but won't connect when roaming in France, Spain or Greece. I've created a new APN profile using the settings provided by iD. I've tried restarting the phone,a reset of network settings (in General Management) and have checked the Samsung operating system is up to date. I still can't connect to networks, either automatically or manually. The SIM works OK in an iphone so the issue would seem to be with the S9 settings. Does anyone have any ideas?

New Samsung A30 refuses to register on network

I have a rolling sim only deal with ID mobile, but my new phone refuses to register with Id. Some things I tested, which conforms its an issue with Id Mobile: [list] [*]Phone works with Three sim/network (same as Id Mobile). So its not network or locked. [*]Sim works on old phone which is a Samsung J7 Pro. [*]Tried both sim slots on the A30 swapping with the Three sim; there is nothing wrong with the sim slots on the phone. [*]A30 is brand new unlocked never opened box. [*]Tried sim on its own. [*]Tried switching to 3g/2g rather than 4g/3g/2g auto. [*]Tried a different Id sim; same issue. [/list] Appears I am being blocked from using the phone, even though I don't have a phone contract with Id and they seem to be blocking Samsung A series phones obtained from other sources?

I have recently moved from Virgin to ID mobile and my data usage has shot up (I’m not using the phone any differently). Does ID mobile hsve a different min data usage policy/way to record data usage?

I am on holiday in Europe and need to make an important call to the UK. My ID number doesnt let me make any outgoing calls. Incoming and 4g are fine. The message that I get on calling any number is - No record of this number. Please check the number and call again. Need help asap

Cannot access my account

I have an IDMOBILE account for my sons phone but cannot remember the password......I requested a new password but the system has sent the new code to my sons phone.....since he has smashed it to smithereens I cannot access this code...I appear to be stuck in a nasty loop. Is there anything you can do to help?

iPhone Network Unlock

Hi people just wanted some help please.. Just got given an iPhone se but my ID sim does not work within the phone a message saying sim not supported keeps coming up. When I first tried the sim it came up with the signal bar display with ID showing that lasted a few mins and now its saying sim not supported. Can you help with this issue please

I need to recieve texts from PayPal and my bank to verify payments but because I'm in Indonesia I cant recieve texts. I even tried to text myself but I doesn't work. My roaming is already set to on in my ID. So can you fix this?

Intermittently not receiving texts

Yesterday I was using a website where the second security level involves them sending me a code in an SMS, and the messages didn't arrive until about 6 hours later. Today, I sent a text to a friend and she replied several times via SMS, and those texts have still not appeared 5 hours later (however, she's just done a test again and that text has now appeared). Any suggestions on how to fix this? Obviously I generally won't know if I'm not getting a text, especially if they never appear. And I've been in an area with coverage the whole time too. But I won't be able to stay with iD if I can't get these important work texts to access sites. Any inspiration appreciated.

Porting in my old number from a previous network provider

Hi Just recently joined iD and followed the instructions to transfer my old number to iD network on your App. This request was made on Friday evening 10th May 2019. After submitting the PAC code and relevant mobile numbers, a message appeared on screen (your porting in request has been submitted, your number will be transferred to your iD mobile number within 2-3 working days). So far nothing changed, aware may be still within the suggested time limit for transfer but would like some reassurance as have seen many negative comments from previous entries where other customers struggled to transfer their old number easily and took ages for iD to sort this out for them. Second question, how do I get notified that the porting in is completed and on which number (old or new) Thanks

Very imtermittent signal since porting my number in.

I've just joined and ported my number across from Giff Gaff, which completed yesterday morning. Since then, I've barely had a signal. Sometimes it comes back for short periods, but it's more off than on. I've tried restarting the phone several times, but it hasn't made any difference. I know sometimes there can be a few hours of problems after porting a number over, but I'd expected a day later that it should be ok now. Any advice would be great.

Roaming outside of EU

Hi, I'm currently in the US and my internet data is not working at all. I have roaming enabled on my phone and on my iD account, I have disabled 4g so it's only allowing 3g, and I contacted customer services before going abroad to double-check that it would work here - they said it would. I need it urgently on this trip so this has become a real problem. Do you know anything I can do to fix this, or someone I can contact who can fix it? Thanks

Error 28 text message from abroad

I am currently abroad and have received a text from my bank to confirm I have made a purchase by replying Y or N. However when trying to reply I receive a message saying error 28, and the message doesnt send. I have checked premium messaging in app and mobile settings, and increased my limit for additional charges, but nothing seems to have worked, after restating my phone a leaving it for several hours. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

Cannot receive text, no option to edit APN on iOS 12

Hi, I’ve recently upgraded my phone (and moved to new sim card) and now am not receiving any text messages. All messages are showing up on linked iOS devices but not my new handset. I believe I need to edit my APN settings to get this to work however currently APN isn’t available . When I go into mobile networks I’m go to options APN just simply isn’t there, my only two options or data roaming and 4G. I’ve been through the ID mobile settings checker and it tells me it cannot automatically send me the settings for my phone and the only option available to me is to do this manually but I can’t do this manually as I don’t have the option.
