Activated new sim card but still can’t send texts?

I upgraded from an iD sim only contract to an iD phone contract so kept my old phone number. With my new phone they sent a new SIM card. I put the new SIM card into my new phone and activated it on the iD app on my new phone. It’s been a day and I still can’t send or receive text messages. My old SIM card is still in my old phone should I take it out? On the iD app it says I successfully ported my old number to my new phone.

Hi @Freya P, when upgrading, we only send the SIM as a spare, really. You should continue to use the old SIM. If you did activate the new SIM, the old one would stop working, however. Have you tried to use the old SIM in the new phone?
