Hi @Boulettes

Have you checked the coverage/status in your area to see if there any ongoing works/outages?

What phone do you have?

I have also found this information:-

If your phone displays "Emergency Calls Only," it means it's having trouble connecting to your mobile network, but you can still make emergency calls (like to 999 in the UK). This can be due to various reasons, including a weak signal, SIM card issues, or network problems.

Here's a breakdown of potential causes and solutions:

Possible Causes:

  • Network Problems:

There could be temporary issues with your mobile network provider's infrastructure.

  • Airplane Mode:

Ensure airplane mode is not enabled, as this disables cellular communication.

  • Phone Settings:

Check your phone's network settings to ensure they are correctly configured.

  • Software Issues:

Sometimes, a software glitch can cause this problem.

  • Weak Network Signal:

You might be in an area with poor coverage, preventing your phone from connecting to the network.

  • SIM Card Issues:

A loose, damaged, or improperly seated SIM card can cause connectivity problems.

Troubleshooting Steps:

  • Check Network Signal: Move to a location with better coverage or try restarting your phone.
  • Restart Your Phone: A simple restart can resolve temporary software glitches.
  • Check Airplane Mode: Ensure airplane mode is disabled.
  • Check SIM Card: Remove and reinsert the SIM card, ensuring it's properly seated.
  • Clean the SIM Card: Use a soft cloth to gently clean the SIM card and the SIM card tray.
  • Test with Another SIM: If possible, try using a different SIM card to see if the problem persists.
  • Check Network Settings: Verify that your phone's network settings are correctly configured.
  • Contact Your Network Provider: If the problem persists, contact your mobile network provider for assistance.
  • Update Software: Ensure your phone's software is up to date.
  • Factory Reset: As a last resort, you can try a factory reset, but be aware that this will erase all data on your phone.

If all else fails you can contact an agent using Live Chat:-
https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat

Type ‘talk to a person’ in the dialogue box to connect to an agent rather than having to go round and round with the questions. Ensure you have time set aside when doing this as the agents are handling several chats at a time and it may take a while to initially get a chat started and then receive replies.

I hope this helps x

Hi there @Boulettes, we hope the kind advice from @Decembersangel72 has been able to help.

Are you still having issues now?

If so, what’s your full postcode and what phone do you have please?

Thanks,

Tyler

I can confirm that I contacted an agent and apparently my SIM was disabled somehow and they just had to re-enable it. So it is back in working order. Just have no idea how it got to disabled.

Thanks for the follow up and help!
