IMEI number lost phone no box

Hi, How can I get my IMEI number if I have lost my phone and I no longer have the box?

If it is an android I believe you dial *#06# in your keypad and it should appear on your screen.  Had to do it recently for my insurance.

If it's an apple phone it's somewhere in settings but I don't know where.

    If you are unsure of your IMEI number, and no longer have the box the phone came in, then you should be able to go into your phone’s settings to find it.
