My all-time favorite Christmas present was a year’s supply of tea - a selection of all the best blends: Assam, Darjeeling, Lapsang, Earl Grey and everything in between - from my daughter. The teas arrived last Christmas and I’m still drinking them. As an impoverished student, she can’t afford fancy presents, but came up with an inspired idea that’s something special between her and me as tea lovers (the rest of the family are coffee drinkers). I think of her every time I have a cup.

The best Christmas gift I have ever recieved was a bike. I had really wanted one for a while, but as my birthday is in the winter months and my family not having much money growing up, I had never recieved one. Until one year when I finally got one for Christmas. A family had moved into a house opposite mine on my estate and a little girl had also recieved a bike. I went playing on my bike and so did she, we instantly became friends. We are still friends 20 years later after many years of friendship all from our Christmas gifts of bikes!

Best of luck and have a wonderful Christmas!

The best Christmas present I ever received was when I was a child. I'd had my eye on a particular pair of trainers for a while and was surprised with them on Christmas day. Spent the whole day aimlessly running everywhere as I believed they helped me run faster 😂 🏃‍♀️

Commodore Amiga, Batman pack, late 80s what an upgrade from my dad's old speccy. Deluxe paint, Batman, New Zealand story. Just an amazing piece of tech and so unexpected as it was 399 quid back then which adjusted for inflation was a lot and we were by no means rich. Felt so lucky and humbled by my parent's generosity. Amazing Christmas.

My best gift ever was the "Little Yellow Teapot" I had always wanted one but never thought I would actually get one. Such a simple toy but had hours of fun!

This is a bit of a weird one but my favourite Christmas present ever was a hedge! We had finished working on the house and the garden needed some work. There was a big gap onto a farm drive. In sub zero temperatures with sleet falling my wife planted a 50 metre row of native plant saplings to make a wildlife hedge. She did this on Christmas eve. When I saw the hedge on Christmas day and how much love and effort she had put into it to make it a surprise, I was speechless. It was and remains so, my best present ever. As you can see its doing really well!

The greatest gift I ever received at Christmas was a bear called Pawson, he was bought out of my then 16 year old sons first wages and I still treasure him today.

I was 7 years old when WW2 ended and I had developed a keen interest in all things naval and of course ships and boats. My father's friend had returned from serving in the Royal Navy after the war. This old 'salt' had spent hours making a magnificent scale model of a schooner complete with sails. Knowing my interest in ships this ex sailor gave me the model as a Christmas present. It was "the best model ship in the whole world!"

My greatest gift I ever recieved was a small wooden box, handmade by my grandad, with Kiera's Cakes engraved on it, filled with several tubs of edible glitter, I am a passionate hobby baker I recieved this gift when I was first starting out and still treasure it over 10 years later 😍

My greatest gift was to meet a friend that I had not seen for a long time that I had been told he had passed away some years ago it was the best Christmas ever we chatted for the whole of Christmas wonderful

The best Christmas gift I got was the Millenium Falcon..and the star wars figurines to go with it.

Definitely my clock - it was a gift one Christmas that has survived over 7 years. In that time it has moved and lived in 3 different areas in the UK, in at least 6 different houses (sometimes staying with friends too!). My faithful clock is still ticking away...

A log splitter, keep warm over Christmas period

My son made me a heart shaped box after becoming a chippie for Christmas, I work in the trade and could see he he put time and effort in to it…..still on the TV cabinet to this day… lovely gift. Yet to be beaten, 8 years and counting…...

The best part, is i found it when they went out shopping lol
  and come christmas morning, it was nowhere to be seen :disappointed_relieved: So come boxing day, nan asked me to get her boots from the cupboard where it was hidden, and i mentioned that there was a gaming device in the cupboard. Mum replied “OMG i totally forgot about it” Arrrr! lol
And from that day on wards i never got off it, it was totally amazing and the games were great..Now everytime i buy presents and hid them, i keep them all in one place! lol

The best Christmas gift I ever received was in 1969. It was a big square torch woth a slot either side at the front. It came with cardboard movie strips. There were a bit like photo slides except there were 4 on the card strip. You slid the cards into the slot and pointed to torch at a white wall or door and the image appeared.

I recall I got some episodes of Dr Who and I spent hours sitting in our hallway projecting scenes onto the back of the door.

Happy days

My best present ever will be coming in a couple of weeks. My 92-year-old mother who moved in with me 7 years ago is going for a break with my sister and niece. My first break from caring, in my own home in 7 years. Yay!!!!!

No pictures yet :)

The greatest gift I received for Christmas was my partner proposing. He had our son helping who was about 18months at the time and I bawled my eyes out. We had been together for 7 years at the time and I had all but given up on having the same last name 🤣. We've now been together 12 years and have a daughter as well as our son to share magical Christmases with!

I grew up with 3 older brothers... so my mum wanted me to have some girlie stuff,as i was only daughter. ...i was 12 and the best thing i got for Christmas was my very own Ice Hockey Stick 🏒.  it was black and red and simply amazing!!! I no longer had to wait till someone will lend me one, so i could play. I was just happiest ever at that moment!!! And remember how awesome it felt till today.

Best Christmas gift ever was from my sister when Harry Potter world in Orlando opened.  She worked in the travel industry and cashed in all her bonuses to get us a great holiday and I think, with everything she squeezed, I only paid about £100 for the flights, hotel and park tickets.  Pretty great. Neither of us have children but we do love the parks.

PlayStation 2 from Toys“R”Us the year it came out.

The greatest gift I have got at Christmas is my husband being able to be with us as he works away from home ¾ of the year…. So the first of his time with me and kids is the greatest present we get at Christmas.
