The iD Mobile Black Friday Event 2022

I'm looking to get myself a new TV this year. Not too big - a maximum of 50 inches but hopefully smaller.  The important thing is that it has a good quality screen and DLNA playback built in.

I play the daily challenges on Microsoft’s Sodoku and Minesweeper apps each day to keep my brain working.On workdays I always start the day by playing the daily set puzzle (https://www.setgame.com/set/puzzle).  I find that this helps to “wake up” my brain and get me thinking logically (I work as a software developer so logical thinking is critical).

When am I going to get a decent signal at home like I used to??

@Will - The signal came back a day or two before you posted - full strength and working fine. However, I’ve woken up today and it’s gone yet again. This is just getting silly now!   To answer your questions: The signal shows as zero strength.  The Opensignal app sometimes shows me as connected but, even when it does, I have no data available to me and cannot make/receive voice calls. At the present time Opensignal is showing ‘No Connection’.   Yes - I am on a 30 day contract (which I had just upgraded a few weeks ago) so, thankfully, moving to a supplier that can actually provide the service I’m paying for is an option that is now looking more likely.

UPDATE: Contacted live chat again and was advised to cancel my contract and move to another supplier!! We always used to get a great signal here.  The coverage checker showswe should have a good signal both indoors and outdoors.  There’s clearly a fault - why isn’t it being fixed? nb: I know of two other id Mobile users nearby who are having the same problem so it clearly isn’t my phone.

Hi Mohammed,Thanks for your message.I appreciate that the refund was a gesture of goodwill and am impressed that id Mobile did that for me.I’m just concerned that this (offshore) company has clearly found a way around any protection offered to consumers with these premium texts.All three occurrences I mentioned (one of the others was also id Mobile, the other was Three) had been reported to PSA before I posted this.I still find it quite amazing that an authority which was alledgedly granted by me in June did not result in a charge to me until 3+ months later - particularly as it was to gain access to a fitness site.What is slightly more concerning is that it’s possible to sign into the getfitcoach site using a random phone number.  Does that mean that that number is being charged £4.50 as well despite the owner of that number not having authorised it?

phone ownership

Your granddaughter will probably have to get her own sim card (so she can be credit checked) and then you can request a pac code on the original one to transfer the number.

I can't remember what make my first phone was but the sim card in it was full credit card sized - it went into a slot on the bottom of the phone :-D

Ending contract

I doubt it - normally phone contracts continue until you actually cancel them. Bear in mind that cancelling the Direct Debit WILL NOT cancel the contract.
