ID Mobile customer service is so poor

I was taught that the true character of a company can be judged by not how well their product works but by how they handle problems when they occur.I was just on the live chat and asked a straight forward question but could not get a straight forward answer, so the agent passed me off to Sales and Retentions who was said to have all the answers. The agent reassured “I understand the question” but then went on not to answer it but like a recurring decimal kept trying to sell me a new plan. After all … that’s what Sales does. The poor sales person did not have further details and said plan are “system generated”. (May AI and not humans are controlling the system?) So here is the question folks … and please don’t laugh at my plan …. this plan satisfies my needs 😊. Apart from the glaringly obvious 2GB data what is the difference between the two? There are no free lunches. There has to be a difference … and I found it out … see below the image.Current planRolling monthly SIM only contract.

Problem with mobile data refresh

I ran out of mobile data in March 2023 and so I switched to WIFI only and for good measure turned off mobile data on my phone. I get 2GB mobile data as part of my monthly package.The new billing period started yesterday 7 April and I logged into my account to discover that I have allegedly used 1020.36 GB in less that 24 hours despite my mobile data is still SWITCHED OFF.I used the only chat but the agent was not help. He/she kept telling me how much data I had left and not addressing the issue.ID Mobile is only as good as the service they provide when things go wrong and right now I am not having much confidence in them and at this stage I am more than happy to switch to another provider who have knowledgeable live human beings on duty that I can speak with when I have a problem and who are empowered to investigate and provide a solution.Can I get some assistance please?

Unable to login to my account for two months now

Hi,For more than two months … since December I have been unable to login in either to the app or online account and I require access.Yes - I know my passwordYes - I did a “forget password” and tried new oneYes - My username is correctYes - I have updated to the latest version appYes - I have the latest version of my browser (Edge)Yes - I tried different browsers - Firefox and ChromeYes - I will cancel my contract on 28 February if this matter is not resolved. Thanks

Indoor coverage has vanished

My postcode is S60 8AD. I used to get a mobile signal indoors. In the last two months or so, I have been having difficulty having a telephone conversation as people have been telling me that my signal is breaking up. Then my text messages were failing to go. I realise that I am getting one one bar or no bars indoors. I have to go outside …  I checked the coverage map to discover that in my area there is only good outdoor signal. This was not always so because I checked this more than a year ago before I switched my account to you. My question, before I go looking for another provider who can provide the coverage I need - what are your plans and the timetable for restoring indoor coverage to this area?   Thanks

Some bizarre has happened to my data allowance

Two days ago I received a message saying I had used all my data (1.3GB) and I need to purchase more. This is bizarre because my usage and behaviour has not changed. I normally use no more than 100MB per month and rollover 900MB. At home and work I used WiFi and when comuting I use WiFi on the train. Outside of those I run my Gmail app, Facebook, Met Offie app, National Rail app and Whatsapp on mobile data. There is NO background updating of my apps. I NEVER, for example, download Whatsapp videos or pictures except on WiFi. I don't stream audio or movies. My phone usage is as basic as it comes in the 21st century. Yet I was told that I used 1.33GB of data in a month! Yesterday I bought an add-on of 100MB and today my allowance was refreshed but even before the day is over it is already showing that I have used 300MB - triple what I would normally use each month. Something is terribly wrong. These figures are just not correct. Is it possible please for me to get a detailed list showing h
