SMS Restrictions

Hello, I'm unable to use my phone number for account security with a 3rd party service provider. This is the response I've had from them:"Thanks for reaching out to us about having issues adding a SMS number to the account.If a phone is prepaid OR has other restrictions on it, it can't be used for this.We cannot see those details, you can reach out to your phone provider to see if they can provide any info, but there is no way around it.We cannot force a number on an account as SMS if it says it is invalid."I'm on a pay monthly plan. I’d like to know if there are any restrictions that are causing the 3rd party to say my phone number is not eligible to use.

How to cancel contract when phone number forgotten

Hi, I would like to cancel the contract, I forgot it was still going. But it’s been a while, and although I can find all the emails from idMobile, so I know my reference number, I don’t know the phone number associated with the account.Your help would be much appreciated.

I have been sent 2 phones

Hi there,I purchased a Samsung A52S 5G with a sim for monthly £19.99 on Friday.My wifes card declined as payment, so I used my card afterwards.The order confirmation in my email shows 1 quantity. Today (Monday), 2 phones have arrived, my wife’s card has been charged 1p twice, and my card once.Not sure what has happened but did not order or choose to pay for more than 1 phone. Would appreciate if anybody can guide me through what process I would go through since I’ve only got an email confirmation for one phone.

Missed Payments On Credit File.

I was recently checking my credit history, noticed 3x missed payments from ‘Carphone Warehouse’ registered back in 2017. It was some time ago, but I dug into my email history all was revealed. In In 2017 I purchased a Sim Only ID Mobile account. however the Sim failed to arrive and I cancelled the service within the 14 day cooling off period. No SIM card was ever used or received. I contacted ID by phone to notify them of the cancellation. later I received a letter from them asking for £1.10 payment as a ‘service charge’. I contacted their customer services by FB messenger disputing this payment (no service was ever used and no sim was ever received.) The FB staff agreed that this was incorrect and the charge was refunded. I still have this conversation in my message history. However, now four years later the three missed payments have appeared on the credit file. Obviously unbeknown to me, this fraudulent activity by ID has adversely affected my otherwise perfect credit history. Makin

Still no sim has arrived

Hi,On the 18th Oct an order for a sim was placed and a conformation email was received stating it was on its way and would arrive in 2-3days.. This has not happened and am unable to create an ID account without phone number..Can i get some support help with this please

billing

Yesterday I received a letter from a debt collecting agency stating that I owed id £16.06 as I pay by DD I logged on to check my account. There was no mention of an outstanding £16.06 but a message stating  that my bill for September of £26.35 had not been paid. I checked my billing history and that confirmed that the bill had been paid on 27th Sept. I checked with my bank and they confirm that the DD was taken as normal. What's going on?

Hi. I am currently on a month to month unlimited sim contract.I am going to be travelling out of the country for 4-5 months. Is there a way to deactivate my sim for this time period and then reactivate it when I am back in the UK? thanks

Can't cancel my contract - PLEASE HELP

I have a SAMSUNG tablet i bought in 2015 (I guess, don’t remember). I need to cancel the SIM because I am only using the tablet at home with WiFi, I don’t need mobile data. I’ve been paying for 6 years, 5 pounds a month for the service I don’t use. All because I can’t get through to any support  - live chat doesn’t work. I don't know the number. I don’t remember at what address I lived when I bought it, under what name! (I moved a bunch of times and was married twice!)however, IDMobile knows my bank details - where to take the money from and my e-mail to send me the bill. But for the life of me I can’t cancel the contract! PLEASE PLEASE HELP!

Hi,  My contact is coming to an end, I think I have a month left, so is there a one month cancellation policy as most mobile networks do have one.  I was wondering whether or not I need to contact Id and let them know that I do not wish to upgrade with them and finish the plan. What do I do?Thanks

Number issues.

Hello, I got a new contract phone on Thursday this week. I left Vodafone behind & came to yourself. I was told by the man who sold me my contract that my old number would transfer across (I have had it for 7 years) it would take 24 hours. Its been well over 24 hours and I am still on a new number I don't want. Please help!

Why the heck do iD send me new SIM card by post when I only wanted to upgrade my current plan??? What’s the meaning of this? I’ll have two cards so two bills to pay? 😡

Being accepted

I got a confirmation email saying thank you for placing your order with a reference number. I just got a message saying that my card had blocked the upfront payment and for me to try again, however the £0.01 check was done on me. Will ID Mobile try to take the payment again now that I have contacted my bank?  thanks

upgrade

Hello, I’ve tried to upgrade to a iPhone 13 £29 upfront £39 a month, got to the end and put my card details in, 1p was taken from my account but then a error occurred and said the ‘card verification has failed’ and no sign of the order actually going through what do I do now? Thanks!

Imported number

Hi, I am a new customer that has had my existing number imported…...I have an issue with this as the number has imported to an extent. When I make a call it shows my imported number but when I sent a text it comes up as my ID mobile number which shouldn't be in use now… Its like having two numbers on one card. One for calls and one for text which is making everything more difficult.Can anyone help with this??Many thanksScott
