Question

phone calls in abu dhabi

Hi I am shortly travelling to Abu Dhabi and need to receive a call on my Uk id number. I will be getting an eSIM to use out there for general use but I need this call to come through. How can I ensure the call comes through as when I have been out there before no calls come through?

Hey there @Gemma Osgood, thank you for reaching out. As kindly advised by @MZone, those are the charges above for roaming.

You will need to ensure you have roaming enabled and international features via both your phone’s own settings, and the iD Mobile app/website.

https://community.idmobile.co.uk/roaming%2D76/what%2Dis%2Droaming%2Dand%2Dhow%2Ddoes%2Dit%2Dwork%2D44964

You will also need to ensure you have a high enough bill cap to allow for phone calls to go through and to run for however long you need.

Thanks,
