URGENT HELP NEEDED PLEASE

Really hope someone can urgently help with this. In a nutshell, I asked ID to change my ID account to another ID account but keep my existing number. Instead they've disconnected me from a number I've had for over 20 years. I desperately need to get it back.I'm awaiting an update from customer support but does anyone know if the number retrieval is even possible? I only made the request on Saturday so hopefully there's time to resolve. I was told I'd have to pay £25 to do it which I agreed to.  Please, any guidance would be appreciated.Also, is it possible to talk to a person at ID about this?Thanks

Why can't I make outgoing calls and texts since the 6th September 2022

I haven't been able to use for mobile since the 6th September 2022, all payments are up to date.  Every time I touch a contact it goes through to the customer service line.  This is totally unfair to have a mobile and not able to use the service which needs to be immediately returned as soon as possible.

paying 2 bills

Hi, I upgraded my mobile in June. In July I had 2 payments made for my old contract and my new upgrade. I got a message today saying my old contract is nearly up and I can either keep the contract or cancel however I thought when I upgraded the old contract would be transferred to the new. Pls can you explain what’s happened and why I’m paying for 2 contracts. Thanks

Not able to make calls!

Hi I realise that this is probably a temporary problem which will be resolved soon. But I was trying to vote in the Eurovision semifinals and so it's now too late for that. I wouldn't mention it as I don't like to moan, but it's not the first time this has happened and what if I was in an emergency?? I live on my own and I don't have a landline, so if I was in danger or even just needed to call a taxi - it's not acceptable to feel vulnerable and not able to rely on my phone. It's not a credit issue - I am supposed to have unlimited calls on my package and I've just logged in to the app and seems as it should be, but when I try to call it says that I don't have enough credit to make the call and to top up. As I said it's happened before and after a while it resolves but I really wish I could rely on my phone.And is there any thing I could do to prevent/ resolve this myself!?  Thanks for your help Amy :)

id mobile no help

I have two Samsung a12 phones, one phone you can't turn phone on and off by the power button, get to put charger in to get it on, other phone has same problem + apps don't want to work and apps are missing from one phone, been in touch with id mobile, they past the buck and said get in touch with curry's carphone warehouse, was no help n said phone id mobile, not had over 2 months.Want fixed or new replacement phones. Or I'll send phones back with NO PAYMENT!!!!!!

Pre order acceptance & claiming offer

I’ve pre ordered the out of stock s22 and would like to confirm a few things.With restocking being expected on the 6th of April, will the acceptance of my offer to purchase (the running of a credit check) be delayed until then?Will the offer for a free set of samsung bud pros, which is expiring on the 5th of april, still be valid?If stock is late and delivery is delayed, will my purchase fall even later than that date?For the latter two questions, please note that the samsung website explicitly says “purchased” by 05/04/2022 and I’m thinking its not technically a purchase until I’ve paid, which I wont until my order is accepted.And is there anyway to expedite my acceptance in the off chance it is rejected and I need to find an alternative before the offer of free buds pro expires?

Does Band 2 Roaming include data?

HelloCan anybody confirm that data is included in the inclusive roaming for Band 2 destinations please.I can see here: What is roaming and how does it work? and here:  Where can I use inclusive roaming?...but it here under What does your inclusive EU roaming plan include? there is no mention of data - just call minutes and texts.

Change sim-only to monthly

I have a relatively recent unlimited minutes/data sim-only contract, rolling monthly. I want to change that to a 24 month contract including handset, for the Pixel 6. I have initially tried to do that by applying for that new (I’ll just switch the number via PAC code and cancel the sim-only, or maybe use it for a family member).However, my credit check is failing for the new contract which seems to be from forum posts because I already have a contract? My credit score / history is excellent, so if it’s that it’d be a bit odd.Should I just cancel my sim-only first?

Coverage in Lancaster

Hi.  My son at Lancaster Uni moved to IDMobile from Vodafone in December.  When he is in Lancaster the phone shows he has 4g but it doesnt work and connectivity cuts out.  I’ve checked the network status and coverage checker and all looks fine but it isnt working for him.  Anyone any ideas?  Thanks.

upgrade

Hi, I have just upgraded with ID mobile and received a new handset and contract. I want to keep the same number which was also with iD mobile. Can I just swap my old sim into my new phone ? Will the unlimited allowances and increased data allowance upgrade or do I have to use the new sim I have been sent ?

pro rated line rental

Hello, I purchased in the new IPhone 13 pro max at the end of November, however still have not received any confirmation of when the phone is being dispatched. However I’m currently with ID Moblie and they have changed my plan before receiving the new phone plus charged me with pro rated line rental????

Cancel Contract before Delivery

I ordered the Pixel 6 yesterday as the 6 Pro was out of stock everywhere and I needed a new phone however I have now seen the 6 Pro in stock elsewhere (still with ID Mobile though).I need to cancel my current order direct with ID (order n.o. 118715960) - it’s not been dispatched or even confirmed yet so I think this should be okay to do but there’s literally no way to do it with the support/help methods other than making a post here.

I am being sent a new SIM, that I never requested - for the third time

Does anyone know what is happening?I get a message via text saying ”Good news! Your new SIM card is now in the process of being activated..“But I do not have a new SIM card and I never requested one.This happened about three months ago and I lost my account connection for three days waiting for the SIM card that I never asked for, to arrive.When I complained, they just did the same thing all over again so I had to wait for ANOTHER card. (Let’s ignore the fact they said I could go to Carphone Warehouse and they’d fix it all for me.. which I did.. but it fixed nothing).It cost me £15 pounds in usage charges when it was 100% ID Mobile’s fault but they refused to listen to my complaint.No one seems to know why I keep being sent new SIMS.This is madness as I know my phone will be without a connection in a few hours.HELP!WHY IS THIS HAPPENING ???????How do I make it stop happening?...AND MY PHONE HAS JUST GONE TO EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY. Why ? Why? Why?

Direct Debit payment failed. why?

My ID bill is payed monthly by direct debit. This month it wasn’t paid and I don’t know why. I received a text telling me it hadn’t been paid and it would be paid next month and I didn’t need to do anything.  However, I have made a payment rather than having two months to pay next month.  What I don’t understand is why it hadn’t been paid in the first place. I also couldn’t work out how to contact ID which is why I’m posing in the community.

cracked screen

Im 12 months into a 24 month contract, i’ve dropped my phone at work and the screen has cracked and its flickering and I cant use it. It’s too early to upgrade, I don’t have insurance, and I know I’m going to have the pay the line rental if I terminate, but is it best to get it repaired, ie cost, as im without a phone or should i just pay the line rental which is left and get a new phone.

Sent phone back for exchange and haven't received replacement

Ordered a new phone and it came opened so I was informed by customer support to send it back for an exchange. I have done and confirmed that it has been delivered but have not received contact from iD about receivng the replacement phone. Additionally I don’t have the phone number as I stupidly forgot to note it down and tehy asked for it to be packaged with the receipt on the return. How do I contact to find out if my replacement is being sent?

Data downgrade from 24gb to 5.99gb

Hi,I have 24gb monthly plan. This is my first month with iD. My data allowance was suddenly downgraded to 5.9gb.I was expecting that my unused data would all roll over to next month. I only used about 2gb this month so 22gb would’ve been rolled over. Now it suddenly shows my data allowance as 5.9gb and there is 5.6gb of data left.This is very confusing.Could someone help me with this issue?Thank you.

Order status

I just ordered a Pay As You Go sim.  After paid £0.1, the window was hanged and I don't know if the order was proceed or not. I checked my bank, £0.1 was charged, but no any confirmation or reference number.Please advise, thanks.

Pac trouble

I am a new customer as of last week, I got a pac code from my previous supplier and on Sunday evening I went via the Id website and filled out the relavant information using the pac code for my to be able to keep my old number. I never received a text message to confirm this had registered and I still havnt had my number change over.I tried to fill the request out again but it wouldn't allow me as I said I request had already been made.Hello to change it over please as I can't seem to be able to speak to anyone on the phone either

Cancelled wrong direct debit and cant reinstate

I mistakenly cancelled my direct debit for my new SIM and cannot reinstate this as I’ve now lost the new SIM. My phone still has the old SIM inserted so when I try to pay I’m taken to the account for old SIM in the ID app and not my new account, so I’ve no way to pay the outstanding balance. I want to cancel the old contract as this has now expired but need a replacement SIM for the new contract. I need to speak to someone urgently to sort this out as I’m being chased for the outstanding balance against my new SIM. Tried live chat but no help at all.
