Neither new or old sim working

I got a new iD sim (switching from T Mobile) and have entered my PAC code to keep my old number. While I was told this could take up to 2-3 days to go through, I can no longer use my old sim however when I put my new sim in, I seem to have limited usage. I cannot make calls or send texts although I can receive them (This may be through WiFi calling). When looking on my iD app, it seems my old number has not yet been transferred over even though I was told this process would me seamless. Is anyone able to advise what I can do? I have tried turning it off and on again as well as sending a text to myself - this failed to send. I have an unlocked iPhone 7 Thanks in advance!

Switching from Vodafone to iD sim only

Hi there I’m new to iD Mobile. I have just purchased a sim only deal online and would like to know what the next steps are for switching from a contract with my existing provider to sim only with iDMobile. Do I wait until I receive my new iD Sim card and then send my PAC to you? The information seems to relate to an in store purchase but I purchased mine online.Grateful for help as this is my first switching experience!

Hi I need someone to pm me about cancelling disconnection which is processing and why is live chat not loading I have tried for three days and used different browsers but no live chat I have also tried 7777 from my mobile and no where can I find on the menu to stop a cancellation this doesn't look good for id I might just leave anyway  John r

sim card error notice

My Samsung galaxy S9 phone works fine but I have suddenly been getting an error notice saying “no SIM card inserted, unable to make calls or connect to mobile networks”. I usually click ok to make the message go away, but the phone still works okay. However this message keeps popping up at random intervals and is very annoying. How can I fix this?

No network connection

Last weekend and this weekend, my phone has switched to 'Emergency calls only', showing no network connection. Calling through the Wi-Fi is also unavailable. Last weekend, taking out the sim card, blowing it and putting it back seemed to solve the problem but I've tried that twice today and it hasn't helped. Online chat is supposed to be available now but isn't (which is a disgrace). Can anyone help please?

unlimted minutes bought a new bundle but says you have reached your capped limit

I have not been able to make any calls or text as it says I have reached my capped limit when quite clearly I have got unlimited minutes and texts. I have bought a new bundle however it’s still the same issue. I am ringing regular 07 numbers.

Hello I have upgraded my phone and need to claim the freebie that comes with it. For that I need proof of purchase for that phone, can you help me please? Just to add, I did get a slip with the delivery, but it did not show the phone details on it. Unwanted call charges

On my last bill I was charged £0.50 on 8 occasions for ringing 448431550400 which I had never knowingly rung. I looked this number up on line and found it to be a telemarketing number. How can I get them to stop calling me and reversing the charges?

Upgrade Sim card

I ordered my upgrade on a Saturday and it came the next day. When setting up my phone I put in the sim that came with it at first but then realised on my ID account that my account had been updated with my existing number but I hadn’t transferred it to the new sim. So I have put my old sim in the new phone. Is this right?Do I need to use the sim that came with upgrade or has ID upgraded my account and I can keep my old SIM?Thanks!

Rooting LENOVO A7000-A

I wanted to root this phone i have (and ive looked it up on internet and FAQ here) but i cant really do it because:The recommended apps for it (Kingoroot etc) doesnt even get downloaded (Yeah i have 'that' settings ON)I thought this was a one time process. Its confusing me since there are some monthly paid stuff. Isnt this just a thing that lets you have the full access of your phone? wth is this even..This phone has 8gb of internal space but in reality it lets you use 3,5 of it not to mention with all those unnecessary stuff you have 500mb to 1gb left at most. Cant put stuff on SD card either cuz 'reasons'.

Open Data Policy

I was liking a lot of what I was learning about iD Mobile, but I must admit the Open Data Policy has put me right off. It's not very straightforward, and if I went ahead and switched to iD, I would just be worried that I was going to end up in a situation (on holiday abroad) where I'm either getting stung an extortionate amount per MB, or would have to stop using data until I get back from holiday. And presumably that additional amount is classed as a 'penalty' and therefore the capping offers no protection whatsoever? I appreciate you'll send a text (two texts) when the allowable amount is nearly used up, but still -- I don't want to be on holiday and learn that actually I can't use any more data without paying through the nose. I've read elsewhere on the site that rolled-over data gets used first. So, if I had 300MB rolled over from the previous month, does that mean I can safely use that 300MB (abroad) *plus* the 2.05GB allowance, without fear of getting stung by the penalty, or

Trying tonswitch my old mobile number over

I have entered my PAC code on 2 separate pages and it pops up that this pac request has been submitted however this was 3 days ago and I have not received any confirmation that my old number has been transferred at all. I have 1 day left of data on my old number so I need this done ASAP. The guidance states I would receive a confirmation text message within 24 hours. I’m now feeling very frustrated from a new customer point of view. Has it/is it being done or not???!

Upgrading my plan

Hi, I’m already an ID customer with a rolling monthly SIM only contract.I want to change my plan and go with your offer of £6 per month rolling monthly contract for 5GB but it seems I can only do this by buying a new SIM. Is there a way I can do this through here or on the APP to save having a new SIM card sent to me as this offer is not showing on the ‘Choose a new plan’ page on the APP. Thanks
