Still no Network

Three website says:We’re fixing an issue with our network in this areaWe’re sorry for any disruption you experience. Our engineers are working on masts nearby, which means the rest of our network is handling more traffic than usual.Updates on our work will be posted here. We’re working as fast as we can to build a better, stronger network in your area. I’ve had no signal at home for 6 days now. And It also happened at the beginning of June. I’m wishing I hadn’t switched from Vodafone. More expensive but I could make a phonecall. Internet is bad at my house too so not always a chance to do Wi-Fi calling.OX33 1YW is my area.My son is also on IDmobile.

no live chat and need help

I cannot access live chat now for 2 days and this is really frustrating as all community advice redirects me to live chat I need my number changing ASAP so how can I do this? Please help

Problem with mobile data refresh

I ran out of mobile data in March 2023 and so I switched to WIFI only and for good measure turned off mobile data on my phone. I get 2GB mobile data as part of my monthly package.The new billing period started yesterday 7 April and I logged into my account to discover that I have allegedly used 1020.36 GB in less that 24 hours despite my mobile data is still SWITCHED OFF.I used the only chat but the agent was not help. He/she kept telling me how much data I had left and not addressing the issue.ID Mobile is only as good as the service they provide when things go wrong and right now I am not having much confidence in them and at this stage I am more than happy to switch to another provider who have knowledgeable live human beings on duty that I can speak with when I have a problem and who are empowered to investigate and provide a solution.Can I get some assistance please?

Returning old phone after upgrade

Hi  I received my new upgraded phone however the email states to pop my old phone in the Jiffy bag provided and send back as it’s already prepaid. However I don’t seem to have any additional Jiffy bag and the address is obviously mine on the bag for my new phone. Does the prepaid bag come separately?  kind regards and thanks Michaela

I pay for 3 phone numbers ?

Dear ID Employee, I pay for 3 different phone numbers. I haven’t received the bill statements for the other 2 numbers? The recent payment debited from my account was 11 pounds, I received an email bill and it stated 8 pounds associated to my phone number? I received a notification that I used 80 % of phone usage however I have only used 69 minutes of 500 minutes. I am confused. Unless, this has not been updated? Please advise. I would like to receive all 3 phone number payment bills so I can see what I am paying  for and see the usage/airtime etc. I have one family member complaining that his phone is not working? Picking a subject above does not apply here? There should be an option for does not apply. Please help. Thank you, Vera

Calls: other person losses audio when at home. pixel 6

Hi,  Since I got my pixel 6 (and moved to ID) calls I make or receive from home will (after about 30 seconds) have to other person unable to hear myself. Sometimes this resolves itself. sometimes it does not. This happens with multiple people I call. The other person has no issues with calling other numbers. Seems to be only when I'm at home. When I'm away I have no issues. I have tried with and without WiFi calling enabled. No difference. I have tried resetting phone. No difference. Calls via WhatsApp work fine 100% time. Voice recorder app on phone works fine. So is not a physical mic issues. I live on a coverage boundary between 3g/4g/5g. So guessing this might be issue?. Is there anything I can do to resolve?Somebody mentioned to disable volte. But this option is greyed out in settings - supposedly ID control this.  Thanks

Cancelling my sim

I have a plan with ID Mobile, I have now been living in Australia for 3 years and completely forgot about it. I would like to cancel it but not sure where my sim is and have forgot my password to my account, the only way to reset my password is with a text message to my number which I cant access.  My details: Name - ]EDIT]Number - [EDIT] Email - [EDIT] My plan is only for 3.99 per month but as I dont use it and have no use for it i would like to cancel it immediately.  Please can you do so.  Thanks

Why has my bill changed after 1 month?

I joined ID in December, my bill was meant to £37.99, which it was in January.Just received my February bill and it's now £44.24, why has it gone up after 1 month?I incurred no charges, I had at leaat 15GB data rollover, unlimited minutes and unlimited texts, so how have I got an extra £6.25 added to my bill?

Hi - I ordered an upgrade sim only plan from you - with more data for less money. The new sim duly arrived and I activated it fine. However, my account is still showing as the old plan (same data, same monthly payment) rather than the new one.Please can you help? - thanks in advance.

Premium services not working

‘Having checked I have activated the Premium feature on my phone and I have full allowances and a cap that hasnt been exceeded, I still cannot send a text to a competition number?’You responded to that community member to say that you would check over their account and PM them with your findings.Could you be good enough to do the same checks on my account, so I can use the premium features, and let me know what you find. Thank you very much.

Cancel PAC code request

Hello, I requested my PAC code today and my phone immediately stopped working. I’m still not sure if I want to switch networks, I was just getting the code ready incase. Please can you reactive my phone - I really need to be able to use it in the meantime and as I am paying for the full month I should still be able to use it. Thanks.

Emergency calls only after a few minutes

Hello,I have seen a few similar threads but nothing with a solution that works or that has exactly the same issue.I just switched to and iD Sim only.My phone has picked up the sim and I have been able to make a call on it, however after a few minutes of being on it switches to Emergency calls only. A restart will give me back iD network signal, but it will drop again after a short time. I don’t really know what to do here and I’m worried that I’ll be left without a functioning phone.

Transfer number from one ID sim to another

I have two id sims, because the offer for a new customer was better than for an existing customer to upgrade (why do you still insist on doing this?).However, I now cannot transfer the number from one card to the other. According to other queries “we don’t know of any provider who can do this” and “maybe you could start a sim only pay as you go with another provider and then transfer the number, and then transfer it back to ID”.I was just thinking, though, why don’t you just let me have the rolling month by month £6.00 for 4Gb that I could have had as a new customer, as an upgrade? Because as far as I can see, that works, and any other provider would be able to do the same.What do you think/RegardsJeremy

Very poor data upload speed.

Just signed up to ID mobile as it uses the Three network. In my house there is no fibre broadband but we do get a good 4g connection with Three.When I run a speed test on Three and ID in the same location, I am only getting 0.5mb upload from ID but over 9mb with Three. I need a good data upload for screen sharing. How can this be improved?

Rang the bank, correct address as on ID mobile, same name on card everything is correct but won’t verify on ID mobile for the upgrade.  ???

Submitting a death certificate

Please could I have the email address to send copy of a death certificate to close/change a direct debit payment on  a phone contract.  I used the one given to me from the live chat.  documensts@idmobile.co.uk  But this bounces back - twice. I have tried to go through the website and the live chat but with no success.   So far spent over 2 hours and going round in circles.  Why don’t mobile phone companies provide a working phone number. Aren’t they communication companies or am I missing the point?

New SIM, Old Handset

Hi, I have recently purchased a new SIM only, monthly package.  I wanted to switch over my existing number and so started filling out the online form.  I could not find a record of my ID mobile number on the reciept I had receieved when ordering, so I popped the new SIM into my existing phone to try to pick up the number however it did not work, at all.  I see from one of your online tutorials that my handset (Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016)) is not on the compatible handset list (though the J3 (2017) is, and my model is still 4G comaptible).  Therefore my questions are: Is my handset compatible with your network If so why isn’t the SIM working? How can I find out my ID mobile number? Thanks, David
