Mobile Data Not Working

Since yesterday, I have noticed that my mobile data is not working and can only use online apps when connected to wifi.I understand there was a storm in the UK this week but my husband also is ID network and his is working fine.Post codes and phones are fine - as always worked fine before.What can I do to get mobile data working again?

New phone and new to ID mobile via mobiles.co.uk

I just received my new iphone and ID SIM today (new customer to ID Mobile) which I sourced via mobiles.co.uk.I have installed the SIM card but nothing pops up on the phone to indicate its hooked to a network, and I’ve no idea if/how I need to activate it some other way.The SIM card came in the green ID mobile envelope, and there’s no details I would normally expect to see like phone number etc. I also haven’t received any welcome email etc from ID Mobile, and I’ve been on their website but there’s nothing there that helps.I also did a coverage check for my postcode, and they’re telling me I’ve got really good coverage 3G and 4G.Really stuck, and no idea what I have to do to get started. Any help appreciated.

early contract payoff due to unemployment

Having just be made unemployed I am looking to cut financial outlay  my upgrade earliest date is 23/7/2023 so a few months away don’t want a new handset just to cut my outgoings anyway I can and stay on a SIM only ID contract with existing number by paying off current contract in full seems like ID don’t help people in this situation anybody advise me otherwise thanks

Problems with ID Mobile in France?

Hi All,I’ve had an ID mobile PAYG SIM in my iPhone 7 for quiate a while and when I was in the UK it was great. I came to France and for various reason have stayed for a long time, and so never topped the UK phone up. I’m coming back at the weekend so contacted ID to see if the SIM was still active before I topped up, it was, so I topped up and bought a bundle. The credit shows on my account, but the phone is only working whilst on wifi, even with mobile dat on and roaming selected. I cannot send a text, and cannot activate iMessage or Facetime?I updated the phone, reset the network adaptor, restarted the phone, but no joy. I’ve tried turning off iMessage and Facetime and loggging out of my Apple ID powering down and restarting, didn’t help. Powered it down removed, removed the SIM, waited almost an hour, put the SIM back in and repeated the above, and still an iMessage activation error?I think for some reason the top up (done yesterday) isn’t arriving at my phone, as I can accees email

Imessage and facetime not working after porting

Before I even start, can I just say that I have tried all of the “common” reboot/restart techniques since Monday and these have not worked.My number was ported to ID mobile on Monday 4th July and since then my IMessage and FaceTime won’t activate (keep getting the error message).I’ve spoken to Apple support which remotely checked my mobile and came to the conclusion that the issue was to do with the network and not device misconfiguration.I’ve tried a couple of different SIM cards and they all activate iMessage and FaceTime upon insertion.  Can someone please tell me what else I need to do to get this sorted?

netflix streaming

Currently I'm with three, they offer unlimited Netflix streaming. I use on average 50gb+ of data a month. Seeing that Id mobile use three, do they also offer the unlimited Netflix or would I be best picking the unlimited deal?

Network coverage

I took out a 24 months contract with ID mobile starting in December 2021. It’s seems it was a big mistake. The network is soo bad that all my customers and friends are complaining. 99% of the time, the line is faint, and the call will just end shortly saying “calling fail.” Worst of it, the internet is so bad and I’m having just 1bar on an iPhone 12pro. Because I’m self employed and use my phone on daily bases to keep in touch with my customer I resort in buying a new sim from another provider so as to make important calls. Is there any way I can cancel the contract with ID mobile and return their phone including the sim?Any advised will be greatly appreciated

DIRECT DEBIT FAILED?

I received a text message saying my payment this month has failed. This could be phish and as it asks for so many personal bits of information I suspect it is. My monthly direct debit has been paid out of my account so you must have received it as nothing has changed this month.plese ensure my phone isn’t disconnected as this is not my fault.

Need to cancel old ID Mobile plan and move number to new ID plan

My ID Mobile contract recently ended and I want to end my plan and move the number to my new contract also from ID Mobile.Any time I try to end my old plan it tells me to come here, I can’t find a way to transfer my old number from the same network.

Faulty phone

Had my upgraded phone Huawei p30 lite less than two weeks and it's totally shut down on me. All week it had restarted during the night which I put down to updates. Then yesterday 12/03/2021 it froze twice and shut down 10 times before finally shutting off for good. Won't charge. Won't turn on not even in safe mode. Nothing. What do I do as shops are closed and I can't speak to anyone on the phone as it directs me to the "live chat" which is all automated responses.

accessibility

Can anyone explain why the customer service is so bad? It discriminates against vulnerable customers. Elderly parents with accounts unable to speak to anyone today (long automated message with no opportunity to speak to an adviser), livechat unavailable, inaccessible 'accessibility' forms to complete, and an issue that can't be solved via the app or faqs.

Please, please, please let me cancel my contract

I have to say that the last week has tested my willingness to actually exist on this planet for a moment longer. How can such a simple task be so annoyingly frustrating.Originally wanted to change my contract after my two year period ended to a £6 monthly sim. Easy you might think but try doing it online. Upgrading to a new contract, easy - downgrading, absolutely IMPOSSIBLE. The only way I could work out how to do it was to cancel my old contract and then order another sim and start again. My problems started straight away when the sim never arrived; so began my challenge of actually trying to engage with ID . At this stage I hadn’t tried to cancel my original contract as I wanted the replacement sim as insurance against being without a phone entirely.I must have spent hours on the website trying to find out what to do when the sim never arrived. Failed credit check

Hi Newbie here.Surely it would make sense to let people know they can only order 2 sims per person before pac codes etc are requested!!. Why is this??. Please advise how I go about getting a 3rd contract asap. It seems discriminatory against single families......Many thanks

Number ported but still charged by old provider

My number is transferred to ID from my old provider. But my old provider said that the PAC code hasn’t been used by ID and hence, I am still billed by the old provider. They can only stop the billing once hte PAC has been used by ID. Has anyone else experienced this issue and how can I get it sorted?

Transferring old ID number (from lost SIM) to new ID SIM (with different number)

I got an ID about 18months ago - so all my contacts use this number.I didn’t register for an online account. No need - or so I thought, and for 18months I was right!Now I am sad! (replace this with your favourite profoundly bad language born of frustration)Since then I lost my phone. Ive replaced the phone. But since I didn’t have an online account I couldn’t cancel SIM or get a PUK code - and you CANNOT TALK to ANYBODY on the PHONE or LIVECHAT! How do I transfer my number from my lost SIM to my new SIM??

PAC Transfer not working

Tried several times to transfer my phone number from ee to ID mobile this week, and ID mobile haven’t done anything about it. I need my number available urgently on my new phone with ID mobile if possible. I would really appreciate if someone could sort this out. Thank you.
