How do I change my sim only account to a new phone keeping the same number?

Phone fault and lack of refer a friend vouchers.

I'm so frustrated with iD mobile atm. I have NEVER experienced "customer service" by asking a "community of other users" for help? Firstly, I took out a 24M plan with the Samsung S22 in mid September. Within the 1st week I noticed some calls sounded very tinny and I was unable to hear the other person but I just put it down to possibly being a bad connection or poor signal. It became more frequent and happens regularly now, and it also started happening when listening to music on loudspeaker (while on WiFi so not relying on data or signal) and I can now confirm the speaker on the phone is damaged. This is a manufacturing fault so I want to know how I go about having my phone either replaced like for like or repaired?Secondly, I was referred to iD by my partner so I got a code, followed the link when I set up my account, entered my account number via the link you sent me within the 14 day period etc and received a confirmation email letting me know I'd get another email once our Currys

text failing and wrong number coming up

Hi, I have switched my number over (a few weeks ago now) and since then all of my text say they fail and end up being delivered by a completely different number any ideas??

Severe network issues

I switched to iD on 30/11/22 from a Smarty contract. The signal in my flat was okay for two or so days and had been fine to great in the years Id been with Smarty. After two days my network speed dropped significantly with both Smarty and iD (both powered by Three. my contract hadnt expired with smarty so I have been testing its speed against iD every few days) and now averages under 1mb/s. Even light browsing such as getting to the appropriate page to list an issue has taken some time. I use my mobile data in lieu of WiFi for my home, hence getting an unlimited data plan.I have contacted Smarty who state there are no issues in my area, and have tried contacting three who say they cannot/will not help with this issue as I am not a Three customer. There have been no adjustments to the building I am in and I am situated on the top floor of a 3 floor building in a small town centre. signal is fine outside of my postcode.the signal issues run the same across a new samsung galaxy s22 (came

FAKE CHINESE PHONE

My dad upgraded his phone a few weeks ago after a sales guy rang him with some deals, the phone came two weeks later as a fake Chinese copy! He boxed it and sent it back to ID and they have sent it back to him today, the exact same phone! What is going on!!!

for a couple of days I can’t make a phone call unless it’s with WhatsApp or FaceTime.. what’s gone wrong ?? I have wifi enabled but still nobody can hear me.

switching to old number problems, PAC code issues

I've been trying to port my old number from tesco mobile but everytime I do I recieve an error about the information being wrong I does seem like a simple input error but I think I've now tried every possible combination of transaction number, mobile number or other data needed that I can Any help would be great!

Been over charged on monthly bill, never gone over limit

Been over charged for latest monthly bill, a mysterious £4.88 has been added to my bill, please could you explain what this is for? I have never gone over my current plan, unlimited min & texts and never use all my data...

Currys PC World Gift Card Not Working

My Currys PC World Gift Card is not working, I get an error saying "Invalid Card Status" on the Currys website. Live Chat support was not helpful at all, and told me to go to Currys support, and Currys support told me to go iD mobile support. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I’ve got a sim only it’s £12 a month and the bill is over is it normal for them to put 20% vat on the bill I’ve got it capped at 0 I’ve not been abroad it’s only meant to be £12 don’t get it the bill before never had it on but this one has

Hi,I. New to this community. I am going to this Christmas outside UK to Germany by road. I would like to know couple of questions.1. As soon as I cross channel tunnel, does my mobile will go roaming if I toggle roaming on from the ID app?2. If the first step is correct can I connect Google map to stay on their live traffic road. 3. Data roaming off

Been to Vietnam and Cambodia, turned off data roaming and mobile data. Smart watch kept telling it's connected to a phone that is roaming. Would check each time but still off in the settings. Just been on the id mobile app and I have £75 of extra charges. I was unaware you can put a cap on this, which I have done although it's too late now. Also while scrolling through on the app it says I have roaming on ! I have now turned this off and it says pending. Can this override my settings? I have never had any problems when I was with EE but just moved to id.Thanks

Cancellation within 14 day window when number has been ported in

Can anyone confirm the cancellation process for someone that has already ported their number in from another network, if I am in the 14 day window? I am speaking to someone on live chat to arrange a return and some of the comments I’ve received make absolutely no sense - it’s like they have no idea what they’re talking about!For example,Thank you for providing your mobile number. Could you kindly confirm with a "yes" or "no", if you know your customer service pin? Please refrain from submitting the PIN on this chat without the supported form. No Thank you for sharing can you please try and reset the password so that I can give you a new code. With regards to your bank you will have to go to the bank and enquire with them as who have hacked your account because this verification code its for your iD app and not for your banks.  ‘hacked your account’!?? What are they smoking over there in ID HQ!? No one has hacked my account, the person seems very confused. When I asked what happens

all incoming calls are unknown - fairphone 3+

About a month ago all my incoming calls through the normal phone line are coming through as unknown. Why is this? I think it has happened before and sorted itself out, but it has been going on a whole now

Pay as you go and data rollover

Hi all,I would like to know if data rollover is available for ID Mobile payg sims?I require a sim for ad-hoc use and need to know if data is rolled over to the following month. Also, is there a requirement to top up every month to enable the data roll over?For example, if I top-up one month and no top-up the following month/s, will data roll over to the following month or months?I look forward to your reply/ies :) Many thanks

Why do i have a final bill to pay for an account ID setup in error?!

Performed an upgrade via the app to get a new phone/tariff. So id set me up with a brand new account/phone number which I've had to visit Currys to close down and process the return. Now I've received a final bill. How do I request a refund/lodge a complaint. Again.

Refuse to pay final bill. iD Owes Me.

iD have been ripping me off, charging 20.75/month for something my nan can get for 5/month from iD. So I have switched to another provider that offers more for less, and offers everyone same deals.I paid 7 december for the month of December. Switched on 19th. So I have a whole month of credit, I hardly use data either. And now they want me to pay them on the final bill? When they owe me almost half a month instead. I did not use my iD after switching. Went straight to my new sim card soon as my number went over. So I refuse to pay, when I am the one owed money.But I can’t access the live chat, nor can i access complaints because there is no option to email, and shift work I can’t trust my phone at handy any time in next week. This is simply a way of proof, should they refuse to resolve the issue and still insist on making the poor people poorer.
