can't receive calls but can make them

Just joined ID for my 10 year old son new phone but he wanted his old number. Received text today saying new number had ported over from EE. It shows up on ID app under account details as current number but when I phone him via my mobile, message instantly says number you have called is unavailable but his phone rings when I use my house phone and he received a text I sent. When the wife tried on her mobile she got same unavailable message. He has since had a message on his phone from 150 (EE old provider) to say the 1gb free allowance he had is finishing. I think because he has to give EE a months notice have there been a mess up by porting his old number. If so how can this be rectified.

cant contact id and dont have a phone

Hi Ordered a new phone on Saturday, which is shown as in stockHave been sent confirmation of number, and pin code (and also my first bill)Been emailed to advise that DPD would contact me to advise when it is being delivered. Not been contacted yet.Tried to register on the app, wont accept the pin code that I was emailed. option to text a new one but it is obviously going to a phone I do not have.Tried phoning up but with a valid pin code i cant get through.tried the chat bot but it just directs me to the DPD app.I just want to know when and if the phone is coming. Be nice to be able to speak to a live person tooIs this common

Hi, I can't send text abroad, BUT even the whats App and viber don't work! It says error code: 0 Could the phone I bought from the iD mobile be bad? The customer service does not know why. But then who will know?

Signal dropped

Over the last few days I have practically no signal at home when I have never struggled with this before.  Calls keep cutting off. 2 other members of my household are having the same problems. Your coverage checker shows that the service should be very good. My postcode is BS30 9UF.

upgrade failing when trying to take 1p on card

I’ve been offered an upgrade, chosen it, gone all the way through until it tried to take 1p from my debit card and continually fails on any device and browser i try.Cant find any solutions online.Any help apprecieted.Many ThanksGAreth

Sim Card and allowances

Hi, I have just recently changed from a pay monthly to a sim only which gives me free calls and texts.I have been getting messages from iD Mobile saying that I have used all of my call allowence. How is this?

new sim not

Have purchased a new sim, inserted it and activated it on my ID Mobile account over 48 hours ago.it still is not working.my old sim was with if mobile and works.this new sim is 5g but I don’t have 5g coverage where I live. But have been to a location that does. Still no service.  ive done everything on the suggested checks.

Cancel data add on

Hi,  I purchased a data add on, which I thought was just for 1 month (apparently it isn't) as my son is in the last month of his contract, his phone is broke and no longer connects to WiFi. Now he is due to get an upgrade and I cannot find out how to cancel the add on? Obviously once he gets his upgrade he will no longer need the add on! How do I cancel it please?

I have an account, receive emails, so I know I'm registered.  When I try to reset password it gives me an error message saying details not recognised.  I've slso tried to set up an account and it says email address already in use so I know I have one.  Can you help please as I need to make adjustments and view bills.  Thanks

Calls not connecting

New phone last Christmas but the SIM is a couple of years old.We have been having numerous problems with calls being unsuccessful since getting the new phone. Sometimes a call cannot be made and sometimes someone calling the phone gets ringing tone but the phone does nothing.We are in a fairly rural area but have a strong 4G signal and very weak 3G signal. The previous phone was 2G/3G only and had no 4G option.I have tried forcing the the handset to LTE/WCDMA, LTE only and WCDMA only so I am able to eliminate 2G fallback as being a possible cause. From my tests I would say 3G is less likely to have a call connection problem but the signal is too weak to be usable in many locations. 4G although it often has a strong signal is likely to fail with setting up a call. Sometimes however it does work perfectly.Would it be possible to have a new SIM sent out as I feel that something in the 3G-4G handover process is getting screwed up and it may just need a newer version of SIM?

Fraud Letter

I have received a letter saying I have set up a new direct debit with you each month to pay ‘ID account’ - I do not have a contract out with you or set up one or a direct debit. This is fraud as this has happened with several other people. You don’t seem to have a number or anyway to talk to someone? I needed this cancelled and sorted ASAP.

very very very poooor network coverage

Hi. Im new here. Ive been using ID sim for more than a week now. However, since the day 1 ive been having difficulty getting the right coverage. The max im getting is 3-5mbps. Most of the time less than 1mbps. My phone is 5g. But it wont even reach 5g signal. Im living in Leicester. It says in the system that here is a 5g ready. Is there something is missed configurating? Or what? This is the worst signal that iv been thru. Giffgaff is way better, sorry.This happens not only at home even in an open area. Seriously. I dont know why???Been searching the hotline number for customer. Because i think i need an agent expert with this issue. 🤔.

New Contract - Mobile Data doesnt work from home

Hi,   I’ve just taken out a new contract with ID mobile via Carphone warehouse.   My mobile data however does not work from home. I have either 0 or 1 bar of connection and nothing will load or work without WIFI.   My data seems to be alright when out and about but it is an issue that it doesn’t work from home - if my WiFi is down it doesn’t work then I have no internet connection. This isn’t the service I signed up for and according to the checker, mobile data  should work fine in this location.    Any help is appreciated.   thank you

cannot log in to my account anywhere.

I want to finish using my SIM card when I emigrate next month but am unable to log into my account either with the app or online. They won’t accept my password and I get error with password or user name reply.  tried to change my password by clicking on forgotten password but whatever I enter comes up with an error notice.  I am going to cancel my direct debit and trash the SIM card when I leave. I have no other option. A human being not an AI would be a great help.

incorrect line rental charge

I'm on a £30.99 per month contract with unlimited everything but in march I was charged £48.77. looking at the bill the line rental was charged at this amount and calls and texts were all £0.00. why have I been charged extra?

'Invalid Number' when tryng to call one specific number

Hi, I can see this question has been asked before but I can’t see the answer as it was in a ‘pm’!I normally phone my sister in law fine, but in the last couple of days when trying to call I immediately recieve an ‘invalid number’ message. The number is not invalid and can in fact be called from any other handset or landline. I’ve deleted and re-entered the contact, she can call me ok and I’ve also tried saving her as a ‘new contact’ but nothing works - almost as if the network has blocked outgoing calls to this specific number.What’s going on?! - it’s actually a pretty important call as her mother is 86 and infirm and we need to organise support etc.Thanks
