ID Mobile SIM won't work in Huawei B535-232

First Post on here, so not 100% sure where it should go. As per the title, I have a Huawei B535-232, it works fine with a Lebara SIM, and looks to work ok with a Three SIM, but the iD Mobile SIM is not recognised by the router. I wondered if anyone else has had this problem or if anyone knows if there’s anything special / unique about the iD Mobile SIMS? Thanks

Roaming won’t connect to data

I am roaming with ID for the first time, in Germany. My data works fine in the UK. Roaming is switched on in the ID app, and mobile data and roaming switched on in my phone settings. My phone connects to the network in Germany fine, and calls/texts work, but it can’t access data. I have full signal bars, and the phone actually says it’s connected to 4G, but still no data. I just get an error message saying it can’t access the data network.  I’ve done all the usuals, toggling data on and off, clearing network settings, reset phone, sim out and back in, changing to 3G only, but no luck. I’ve tried manually connecting to various networks, which works fine, but no data. Also for some reason I can’t find my APN settings anywhere on the phone. The whole menu option has disappeared. Is this something to do with ID?  I’m using an iPhone SE (2020) running iOS 16.

Caller can't hear me but I can hear them

Hi, very frustrating, when someone calls me or I call someone, I can hear them clearly but they can’t hear me. Happened in an old phone and now on my brand new one so microphone works. Checked 4g signal and it’s strong. Been happening for months. Turned off and on ‘wifi calling’. makes no difference. My wife has the exact same issue with ID mobile sim on a completely different phone. Any suggestions?

Google Pixel 7 Offer - £100 Currys Voucher Not Yet Received

Hi there,I've recently seen a lot of topics regarding the missing Currys voucher from the November offer of the Google Pixel 7, and I'm also in the same situation. My concern is that I have spoke with both ID Mobile and Currys over the past few weeks, in which I have received various sources of information. I spoke with ID mid December who said that: "Currys are the one sending out the gift card" and I should speak with them. So I did just that. The strange thing was, after speaking with Currys about the missing gift card, their advisor actually told me via live chat that they would be sending me out a physical gift card shortly, and should be received after 7-14 days. After the 14 days, nothing arrived so I went back to Currys, told them the situation and the new advisor then said: "They don't quite understand why the previous advisor said that as they can't legally access ID Mobile orders from their system". I then asked Currys how and who is actually sending me the gift card, in whi

Samsung A10s not connecting to ID network

Having recently changed to ID because the 3 network is supposed to offer the best signal here, I now find that even though I can manually select ID (automatic connection doesn’t work) and it will say ‘registered on network’, when I then try to make a call it says ‘no network connection’. I am not technical or phone savvy - I just want a phone that works. I have activated Wifi calling for in the house, but even that doesn’t seem to work! Help please!

1st bill overcharged

I'm new to ID and am supposed to have 3 months at half price (£8) but have been charged £16 on my first bill. Impossible to speak to anyone and the chat is 'too busy' - not a great first impression.

We’ve tried to process your PAC, but there is an issue with the information you’ve submitted, please check that you have provided the correct details and try again does anyone know how to resolve other than the app which is just “processing” and getting nowhere!not a good start, phone will be going back at this rate

Waiting for my Voucher and can't stop crying

I really wanted my voucher to be on time and it isn't. This has made me really cross because i hate waiting. All i have done since the original expected delivery date is cry, and i don't think i have anymore tears left in me. I wake up from dreaming about my voucher, to eating a bowl of cereal that isn't a voucher. I kiss my wife, but I'm thinking about my voucher. I go to work in a voucher factory that just makes vouchers, and that just serves as a reminder as to what I'm missing out on. I just want my voucher and want my life back.  Does anyone else feel this way?

PAC code not working

I have just moved from 3 to iD and want to keep my old number. I rrcuever my PAC code from 3 and entered it to the iD app. The app gave me an error message saying the code is not valid.  I then entered my PAC code online via the website. Shortly after I received a text saying that some of the information I provided was incorrect (I'm 99.9% sure it was correct). The text had a link to www.idmobile.co.uk/contact-us When I clicked the link I get a page not found error message on iD website.  I've tried calling customer services but the call centers are all closed.  What do I do now? The iD app pointed my towards the iD Community for help. Any one that actually works for iD on here or is it just customers?

Found the same contract with yourself cheaper online

On my account I have an offer of an unlimited data SIM for £18 per month. However, when checking alternatives on price comparison sites, ID Mobile are offering the exact same contract but for only £17 per month, as well as “3 months fee Apple TV+ & Music”How can I get the offer at the cheaper rate, is this only for new customers?Thanks, Paul

Hi ID Mobile,I have seen many threads regarding this. I am also one of many who have made a qualifying purchase of Google Pixel 7 phone and complied with the terms and conditions. I have also surpassed the 30 day post qualifing periodPlease can you confirm the following.1) My quilfied purchase 2) What specific date I will be receiving my Gift Card.I am currently engaged with legal advice, regarding "breach of contract" who have asked me to clarify the above to points.Kind Regards Ryan

Trade in offer still waiting

HiHoping @mohammed can help as you have others previously.I am still awaiting my additional trade in value for trading in my Samsung phone for a Pixel 7 Pro. I can't get a response from carphone trade in directly despite several attempts to contact them over the last 4 months

Calls: other person losses audio when at home. pixel 6

Hi,  Since I got my pixel 6 (and moved to ID) calls I make or receive from home will (after about 30 seconds) have to other person unable to hear myself. Sometimes this resolves itself. sometimes it does not. This happens with multiple people I call. The other person has no issues with calling other numbers. Seems to be only when I'm at home. When I'm away I have no issues. I have tried with and without WiFi calling enabled. No difference. I have tried resetting phone. No difference. Calls via WhatsApp work fine 100% time. Voice recorder app on phone works fine. So is not a physical mic issues. I live on a coverage boundary between 3g/4g/5g. So guessing this might be issue?. Is there anything I can do to resolve?Somebody mentioned to disable volte. But this option is greyed out in settings - supposedly ID control this.  Thanks

I have no I'd mobile number

I've received my SIM. I'm trying to switch using my pac from my current provider to ID however in order to do that I need my new mobile number. I've seen two directions so far. It should be in your welcome email. It's not. You can pop in your new SIM to your phone and call someone. I can't. As my phone is still locked by my current provider. No one is available to speak with. A automated chat service who sends you round in circles. An automated telephone line. And nothing can help. What next?

Trade In Payment not received

Hi, l sent off my phone to Carphone Warehouse/Currys in Dec, for Trade in, phone was received but l haven’t received the £250. I have called numerous numbers and times to resolve this but keep getting referred back to ID Mobile Live Chat (Bot is useless) I can’t contact ID Mobile by phone and am literally going round in circles. Currys refuse to send my handset back so where do l go from here?

I cannot find a link to claim any vouchers, it must be very well hidden in the system. It has been since August that i refered a friend. How long do i have to wait, my friend has paid 3 bills now.  correction 4 bills now.

wifi stopped working

Today, Thursday 1st December 2022, WiFi calling suddenly wasn't available.I have reset my phone and reset my router, but WiFi calling isn't available.I have seen that 3 have been having network issues today where users couldn't make calls.Is WiFi calling not being available related to this issue? If I turn off airplane mode I can make and receive calls. So perhaps not?I have tried the SIM in 2 different phones, which before today WiFi calling worked flawlessly.The fact that 2 different phones exhibit the same issue, doesn't suggest phone network issues, but ID mobile network issuesI believe WiFi calling not being available is a network issue or something  changed in my user configuration  at ID Mobile.Also today I noticed that both phones reported 4G+ for the first time. This I noticed after WiFi calling stopped. Maybe a coincidence but has ID Mobile introduced network changes or upgrade today?Anybody else experienced similar issues with WiFi calling today?How do I get ID Mobile to che

Haven't received gift card after waiting 1 month as advised

Hello, I purchased the contract phone on the 27th Nov. I was advised to wait 30 days as there was no Currys £100 gift voucher included with the phone. I have now waited for 37 days and nothing has been sent. Seeing other threads on this topic, I am certain nothing was ever sent.  The best solution would to email all buyers the gift code. What can I do to receive it asap please? Thanks

4G Data Speeds with Mobile Router

Hi,I just bought a Tenda 4G Mobile Router.  Insert a SIM with data and it provides internet access.  Assume an area has good 4G coverage.  What are the min/max/average: 1) PING 2) Upload 3) Download speeds with iD Mobile?I bought a SIM from one provider and was horrified to see 3mb download, 1mb upload and ping=48 which is more like 2G than 4G.My goal: use as a replacement for a home router for a few months only.  I’d appreciate your thoughts.  Thanks.
