Unfortunately File Exchange delays can take some time.
Our Back Office Team will need to check this out with the previous provider to get the number port pushed through.
We can only advise to wait but we can chase the team for updates.

Thanks @Kash! I wonder how long they can take. Also I am able to use my existing mobile Number and can receive/make calls. So I am wondering what is left to do for the porting to happen seeing that my current number works fine.

Are all services working fine with the correct number including making/receiving calls and texts?
If so it sounds like the number port may have completed.

Yes, I am able to make calls and receive them with the correct number. Although I am not able to register in the IDmobile app as the number is not recognised. So I called the customer service and they still say the port has not been completed.

I bought this sim only deal on line . When I applied I was asked if I would like to port over my number from my old provider. I ticked yes and gave the pac code and the number I wanted t port over and chose today as the day I wanted the port to happen.
After reading some of these messages from you all I’m starting to worry.
will I receive any notification of when this port over will happen ??? I’m very worried as I am notified by text for all my work duties with my employer and it’s just not that simple to give them temp numbers as there are so many depts.
I really need my number today as requested and offered . Please can someone help.

The port will be completed sometime between between 8am - 10pm on the date you selected, @Jo Catterall-Rodell.
You’ll know iD have begun working on the port when your old provider’s SIM card stops working. Mobile number transfers don’t happen immediately in the UK.
If you’re concerned @Jo Catterall-Rodell, I’d suggest contacting iD support via their online Live Chat service - the advisers work until 8pm on weekdays.

I didn’t get any SMS about that. I send PAC to you. I need my old number what keep already so many years.
That is my second number in ID on different email, I already created my account there.

We are sorry for any concern caused.
The switch can take anytime up until 10pm on the day and we would only text to confirm once it is ported.
