Hi I need some help. My husband passed away very suddenly in early September. When I advised his bank they immediately closed his accounts and therefore any dd’s. I got the first debt chasing letter addressed to my husband who I called and they closed the Account and sent it back to id mobile to deal with. However i received another debt chasing letter addressed to my husband today from a different debt chasing company, I rang and told them what had happened and again they closed the account and say to contact Id mobile via live chat to advise them directly. However the advisor told me I’d need the mobile no tgat relates to the debt to access live chat - which I don’t have. She couldn’t give it to me due to Privacy. The mobile no is not on any of the documents. So I have no idea how to contact anyone. Any ideas as it’s horrible enough going through a sudden bereavement without threatening letters without recourse to explain or discuss.
thanks

Hello
I’m really sorry for your loss and that you’re receiving contact from Debt Collection Agencies for an account where the account holder has passed away.
I’ve sent you a private message now so we can help you sort this and look into this further.
Mohammed
