problem logging in on ID app but not via search engine


I can log in to my ID account no problem via Google but when I try on the ID app it says it’s an invalid username or password. I have tried on iPhone 6s and iPad Air. Same problem
please help!

The password was not typed in incorrectly but I did some more digging around on this forum and have now fixed the problem! It seems it does not like the £ sign on the app but it’s ok on the website. I changed my password via the website to something with an @ sign instead and I can now log in on the app! Yay!

Hello @DanielRID,

I'm fairly confident that the issue here is to do with the incorrect password/username being entered.

We'd recommend resetting your password and then when logging in, double check all details.
There was another instance of this just the other day I dealt with and it was due to the password being entered wrong.

I know it sounds silly, but please double check the information entered, or reset the password.
