Got a new sim from Curry's and activated it an hour ago, but the phone is showing no mobile signal.

Hi @Judy22,

Welcome to the Community!

It can take 2 hours for SIM cards to activate.

Once activated you may need to restart the handset.

Are you still having issues with the SIM?

Hi @Vicky Pucill

Are you sure you didn’t activate a replacement SIM to your account instead of your Son’s?

Today I got a text message from ID mobile telling me that my SIM would soon be activated.

My contract is 20 months old and I’ve never had a message like this before

I then lost mobile signal and can only use my phone at home/with wifi.

What do i do? There have been suggestions this could be fraud?

Hey there @Andrea Mazingham, this is likely PAC fraud, we apologise for this. Please contact our live-chat immediately so they can report this, and block the new eSIM and send you a new SIM card:

@Jonathan Bulmer

It could be this?

Have a read and check your phone is set correctly.

Hi @Akash Hussein,

Welcome to the Community!

One number can only be active on one SIM at a time.

Do the other handsets have different iD Mobile numbers associated with them?

It’s strange that it would cause issues with your other numbers if so.

I would advise that you contact our Live Chat Team and they can check this out for you.
