You can aks iD to change the mobile number however there is a fee of around £20 or there abouts.
It may be cheaper to get a new sim if payg or if on contract contact the team on live chat and the can arrange the change but bare in mind the cost. I do think if you have a police reference number it may be free. But could be wrong on this
