Phone blacklisted

Can someone help please, ID blacklisted my phone accidentally. I have now spoken to live chat twice in the last week and both times they have assured me that it would be done within the hour but it’s still blacklisted and I can’t use the phone. I’m at my wits end as they keep saying it’s done but no change!

Cancelling contract and then taking out new contract.

Hi, I wonder if anyone can answer my question please  A week ago I took out a new contract for an iPhone 12 but it does not suit my needs. I have gone back to Curry’s to see if I could exchange it for a Google Pixel 7 (which is a cheaper contract). I was advised that I couldn’t change to a different handset and could only exchange to a different iPhone. The sales guy said the only way would be to return my phone and cancel my contract and then take out a new contract but this would mean another credit check. This seems a little crazy, surely it would be simpler to just exchange the handset (I’m within my 14 day period) failing that why re do a credit check ? I passed one a week ago for the iPhone which is a much more expensive contract than the pixel. Could they not just take that credit check and switch contracts. I’m now stuck with a handset I don’t want. I’m happy with the network, just chose the wrong hand set.

My ID contract finishes in August and I want to move to a ID sim only plan.  Can I do this and keep my number?  I have tried your online chat but got nowhere

Sim only upgrade

I'm suffering with signal loss from either my phone or my sim card dropping out. Therefore I have ordered a new phone & upgraded my sim only package to get a new sim card to replace both phone & sim. Is it possible to change my phone and change to a new sim card but keep my old id mobile number? Or would I just have to accept new sim card & new phone number?? Thanks for replies.Rob Thomas.

Unknown Charges

I have 2 different mobiles, with 2 different reference numbers for the direct debits. However, this month I have had a payment taken, with an unknown reference number of an account I have no knowledge of. I have cancelled the direct debit, in case any future payments are taken. This appears to me be a fraudulent payment. It would be helpful to speak to a human to clarify and resolve this asap.

unable to port my number over

I have been attempting to port my number since yesterday despite checking my details several times to make sure they are correct i am being told there is an issue processing them,i have also tried putting my surname in caps but to no avail and i have been unable to currently contact anyone at iD,not too impressed

switching SIM only to payg

I've seen a couple of people asking about switching (downgrading) their rolling monthly SIM plans to PAYG and being told that this wasn't possible whilst staying with ID. Both of these posts were from more than 2 years ago so I'm just wanting to see if this is still the case, as it seems ridiculous to me that a company wouldn't want to keep customers, even if they are a little less profitable. Especially as ID do have a PAYG product. Thanks, Erik.

iPhone broken

Hi theremy fiancé fell down the stairs on the tube and his iphone is now bent, all the glass is smashed front and back and it won’t do anything. The screen comes on but that’s about it. i don’t think accidental damage is covered by Apple warranty, so we were wondering if cancelling his contract and getting a new phone with a new contract is the best move? I’m not sure if it’s beyond repair tbh.  many thanks elle

My phone has the black screen of death! Can I recieve a PAC code via email?

I have a bit of a complicated issue in that my 24-month contract is up in early December so I was looking to see if I could get a PAC code however the only option I can see is to receive one via phone text. The problem here is that my phone currently has the black screen of death as of today’s date - I can’t turn my phone back on! How do I get around this if I want to switch to a new contract? Is there an email option?

Is there any way at all to contact anyone at ID as I am going to be late paying my phone bill but I wanted to inform someone that I am still paying it, it will just be late. The page for the Live chat is gone.

I am trying to call 0800 169 0283 from the UK; which is a Government freephone number - UK Government (Jobcentre)After waiting for 10 minutes in a typical phone queue, it eventually says “Sorry, your service does not allow access to this number” -  this is the same issue that was reported here for the same number:So is not an issue specific to my phone

leaving ID with PAC code but can't rejoin?

hello, I bought a second ID sim only using the referral scheme, for some reason I was redirected to mobiles.co.uk and I finalised the purchase of sim 50GB for £7.50/month. I got  a confirmation of the plan via email and text, however when I received the sim and activated it the dashboard showed £12/month and indeed the chat agents confirmed this plan. Apparently I ended up in a 12 months contract rather than 1 month rolling on as I wanted. I complained and I got a call from the Complaint Team and I was told I need to call mobiles.co.uk to return the contract and chat again with the agent to request a PAC code and convert the contract to PAYG. And so I did. However I was told in the chat that I am not able to join again the network and if I do so I might lose my number so I am looking for an alternative network, anyone had a similar experience and why am I not able to join ID again?

Processing a PAC code

Hi I cancelled my contract with another company and got a pac code as wanted to keep my phone number . I am looking to make a new contract with you guys and I am looking at the iPhone 13 with unlimited everything ( 40.99 a month ) I have got past the information page then I press the link about “ if you have a pac code click here “ I then enter my pac code and my name and current number but I can’t fill out the other questions )1 id mobile number )2 transaction number . I don’t have a clue what a transaction number I need help as this pac code only last 14 days thank you

Help needed with iMessage after porting

I’m having the same trouble as many of you regarding the inability to activate iMessage and FaceTime following porting 2 days ago. I can’t receive OTPs or texts from my bank either. If I don’t get this sorted immediately I’ll have to leave ID as the situation cannot be allowed to continue. I’ve tried all the suggestions on other posts but nothing is working. Does anyone have a magic wand?

No help, no service, no listening. HELP!

I tried to start a 30 day rolling sim which I ordered on 27/11/21. 1 - I recieved the sim but was unable to access my account on desktop, phone or the app.  2 - I contacted ID mobile through your chat service and spoke to someone called Ryan, who after some time believing what I was telling him, accepted and understood that I could not a) create an account (because the site said I already have an account) - WHICH I DID NOTb) When I used the forgot "my password" - to try and reset the phantom account, the new password never worked. (Despite doing this twice!)  3. Ryan said he would forward the message to the relevant colleagues, who would be in touch to help fix the problem. - (I STILL HAVE HEARD NOTHING TO THIS DAY)  4. I later tried to contact ID Mobile directly by messaging my details to your email address, but again I have had no response or reply.  5. I got fed up and now wanted to leave/stop the contract, since something very simple had become a nightmare to resolve - however, onc

Google pixel 6 won't stay connected to WiFi

My new Google pixel 6 arrived last week and it won't stay connected to WiFi, it connects and disconnects instantly, it will connect to data but I obviously need to work on WiFi too, I have tried master resetting the phone, connecting to someone else's WiFi it just will not stay connected. I can't find a number to ring either 😒
