changing to sim only

I’ve read a previous thread about how to upgrade from a phone with sim to a sim only deal but the information isn’t correct?My contract has ended and I don’t want a new phone and I’ve been told I will continue to be charged the full amount if I don’t change. I now want a sim only deal but when I try “upgrade” as per the previous instructions there is only the option of getting a new phone?the previous question/answer said to go into your account > upgrade > pick the sim only option … there is no sim only option anywhere. It can’t be filtered or sorted? thanks

Transaction Number - I’ve not received it

Hi,I’m new to iD Mobile and I’m very frustrated! I can’t find my Transact 9 digit number! I haven’t received a welcome email either with all my details on. It’s not in my spam/junk either.  I have my PAC code. I know where to go to put the details in for this (after much researching!) but I now need this other number.  iD please help ASAP! I have till the 27th April to get my number transferred. I don’t want to regret leaving my previous provider!

full 4g but no internet

So I was out today and I couldn’t get any access to the internet but had full signal and 4g! What is going on here! It’s not the first time it’s happened either only been with id for a month!

Difficulty ending monthly sim card plan

Hi, I have contacted ID mobile to end my contract (pay monthly sim card) in January 2023. The advisor I spoke to confirmed that the plan was ended. However, I was billed £28 for March and April (£14 for each month) though I do not understand why. Was my contract not cancelled like the ID Mobile advisor confirmed ? Am I still being charged on a monthly basis for a service I ended months ago ?Is there any way I could know for certain whether this monthly plan was cancelled ?  Full explanation:I do not have an ID mobile account and, as I have not used this sim card in months, I no longer have access to my ID mobile phone number to create one. I therefore cannot see any bills nor whether this monthly plan is still active or not. I paid for these charges (£28) to avoid having my credit score affected as claimed by ID Mobile, but still do not understand what these were for.  I spoke with ID mobile advisors who were unable to clarify the situation for me (unable to explain what the charged we

ID wont take my money.

ID will not take my money for my last bill. For the past week I have been trying to pay my bill of £21.84. I enter my card details at the prompts,the money leaves my account then bounces straight back into my account. I have over £1000 in my bank account so it isn't because I don't have the funds. I've now been cut off because ID will not take my money. I am furious, any suggestions? I will be leaving this awful network, live chat doesn't work and the various numbers online are crap

Hi My phone contract ends on 5May2024, I can see that I’m eligible for updgrades but I can’t see the sim only deal option..Can someone please help as I’m looking to reduce my monthly Direct Debits and I don’t need a new phone

Cant text my partner who is abroad? Error 0

Hello my partner has gone abroad to an EU country. We both have UK phone numbers and can text fine in the UK.When I try to text while she is abroad all I keep getting is unable to send error message 0.She can text me which is strange but I can't text her.I have an unlimited plan with every option turned on in my account. My bill cap is also set at £20 so should be space if it was going to charge me. I have also tried two sms apps Google and Samsung. (Phone is s23plus)Can anyone advise why I can't text?

How on Earth do I get a replacement SIM?

This is insane. Never use ID Mobile!I had my phone stolen on a weekend. On the Monday I ordered a new ID Mobile SIM card via Currys as it suggests you do on this very website. After 2 days or so the SIM card arrived at my local Currys store so I picked up the SIM. You can only purchase pre-paid pay-as-you-go ID Mobile SIM cards from Currys, but since it said it on this website I assumed they could simply switch your number over to the new SIM. Bare in mind, I had already blocked my old SIM and handset via the ID Mobile user online portal. You can’t order a new SIM card directly from the user portal like every other mobile phone network in the country. You also can’t activate a new SIM manually via the user portal, you have to talk to an agent via ID Mobile’s Live Chat. So I went to the Live Chat module and got through to an agent who said they can activate my new replacement SIM for me, so I read out the code on the new SIM card and the agent said it might take up to an hour to take ef

updates

It would be very helpful with updates as to what's going on and why customers can't login to their accounts on app and website.  I've been unable to access my account for 3 days now which is unacceptable. Come on ID. We live in 2024 , surely it shouldn't take this long to update servers etc.

Hi, my current IDmobile sim contract ended Oct 2023. I have found a cheaper sim only only contract aslo with IDmobile and have ordered the sim. My question is once my new sim is installed will i be charged for 2 contracts. What do i need to do to ensure that im only on my new sim contract

I received an email noting that my contract ends on the 10th April. The email offered this as an option: £8/month rolling with 20GB data. However on the app the only options are as seen in the second image. £10/month at least. Any help?

I have accidentally ordered 2 upgrades on the same plan, will one of them be cancelled?

I was trying to upgrade from a sim only to an IPhone 15 plan, I thought I’d ordered it this morning but I hadn’t received an email about it, little did I know it had been filtered into spam amongst other emails so I hadn’t seen it. After that I’ve re ordered another thinking I must’ve not gone through with it and that also went to the spam folder, now hoping that one will be cancelled automatically. Can anyone help with what I should do next or do I need to just return the phone when it turns up? Thanks

retaining number

Hi there looking for some advice! I have moved from ID sim only to ID contract, looking to keep my number and read that I needed to move to a different provider then port back. I have tried to move to 3, I've input the details inc PAC, it comes up with an error message stating technical issues.. any ideas?
