cant change my direct debit


I can’t change the account I use for my direct debit. I need to change it to my business account, the details are the same address wise. The only thing I can think of is the bank account name is my businesses name instead of my actual name.

The iD account has to be in your name but you should be able to update the direct debit to your business account.

Have you tried using the app/webpage and using a different browser.

Failing that probably best to resolve this issue by using the iD online Live Chat service, to speak to a customer adviser ​@Johnner101  

The advisers work until 8pm on weekdays and 6pm on weekends - just tell the 24/7 chatbot you’d like to “talk to a person”.
