If still an issue several days after your switch completed, there might be a problem with your number transfer or your iD network account @Kirsten Hutchinson

Many automated/bulk SMS systems (used for generating bank verification codes etcetera) don’t work the same way as mobile device to mobile device SMS. These automated systems need to ‘learn’ the network routing has changed, for the mobile number you wanted to keep.

Hi @Kirsten Hutchinson

It may take some time as @andewhite suggests, how are you getting on?

I have the same problem as described by Kirsten. I am not getting onetime codes and I can get into my online bank account because of this. It has been two days since my number ported.

Hello @Michael Payne

Thank you for posting to us here on the community.

We are sorry to hear you are also experiencing issues with receiving OTP’s.

Have you recently ported your number over to us?

Nat

Thank you @Michael Payne

Can you please confirm the make/model of your handset?

Also, are you having trouble receiving any other text messages?

It may also be worth running a network reset of the handset. If you are unsure on how to do this, we can advise you further once you reply with the make/model.

Thanks,

Nat
