Transfer Sim to eSim Iphone

Sorry if this has been raised before, I have received an iPhone 15 for christmas which is eSim only. My old iPhone has a physical Sim. I wasn’t able to transfer this during setup because ID Mobile doesn’t support this. I am sure I am not the only person with this issue.

Can someone let me know how to transfer the sim/number from the physical Sim to the new eSim only phone.

Due to some recent(ish) eSIM fraud iD Mobile beefed up their security measures. Thus with this now in place the only way to obtain an eSIM is to request one via iD’s Live Chat (tomorrow)

(start the chat with talk to person)

 

They’ll then email you the QR code and it must be opened on the device you want it on.
