Not receiving text messages


I’m aware there has been an issue with not receiving text messages. This has been a problem for a few days and has not been resolved. My partner is also with ID and is having the same problem. My nephew is with 3 and also having the same problem. No problem with calls or what’s app etc. clearly a problem with the 3 network. Has this been escalated to 3? Any resolution? Thanks

@MAK1971  Afternoon to you 3 are fully aware of said problem and are working on the problem. It's effecting some customer's.

Some customer's that previously could not receive or send text can finally do so. Try turning of your phone and turning it back on as suggested by some customer's. 

Also is this happing no matter the postal area you're at? 

Just have a look to see on the network status checker if any known issues have been reported.

Hi. Thanks for your reply. Yes, it’s happening in different postal areas. I’ve tried switching off and on multiple times and there are no outage problems reported. How will I know if and when this issue is resolved?

@MAK1971  Best is to use the live chat to speak to an agent give them as much detail as possible and let them know you done all possible checks and test. And just to add mention the was an issue with text messaging effect some customer's mid week.

The overall issue for some customers not receiving texts has been resolved by Three UK. Can you confirm if you’re still having the same issues?
