OTP's suddenly not being delivered


Hi,

Since Saturday three different companies have sent me OTP’s but none have been delivered, tried multiple times, texts between me & my family send & arrive as normal, anyone able to get to the bottom of it?, have tried Live Chat twice today and it is utterly useless.

@beseeinyou1  What device are you using and have you tried your sim card in a different device?

Try Live Chat once again but this time in the message box Speak to a someone.

It is a Samsung A54, and yes I tried the sim in another phone which surely rules out that it’s an issue with the handset.

Just to clarify, I got an “Agent” both times on Live Chat, the first time for 40 mins, and the second for just under 2 hours, after the 2 hours it ended with having to raise it with our technical team, somehow I’m not expecting anything from that.

So last night, a full four days after first noticing the problem, 35 text OTP’s all arrived at the same time, clearly an issue with ID Mobile’s network delivery, but their Live Chat and Employee advisors on this forum were not made aware.

I see now at the top of their Help & Support & Community pages they are at least acknowledging the issue.

Thanks for the update. Are you a new customer to iD? If so, did you switch in from another network, and if so what date did the switch take place?

No, I am not a new customer to iD, it seems to be fixed now as I am now receiving the OTP’s immediately as it should be.

@CRESSWELLCOX56  Well I happy you're service are back and working,. There was a issue which effect some customer from sending or receiving text messages. This was announced midweek.
