Phone not receiving calls

Issue has been going on for over a week and my elderly mother can’t ring me so I’m not happy 

according to the 3 website there’s an issue with my area - how do I get this sorted ?

@PP19 Unfortunately you'll have to wait until 3 starts and complete their work, since they reported a problem in your area.

I’ve been on to the chat and after a very lengthy process established from the call handler that actually there was an issue back in Feb and apparently the info is out of date and they’ve just not updated the website since ! 
Other than that she advised switching the phone on and off ( already done ) 

take out the sim and put it back in ( it doesn’t have one ) 

and so factory reset was the final suggestion 

 

needless to say I’m currently a very hacked off customer !

@PP19 May I ask how long has this been going on for and did you every have a good service previously?

I'm could have something to do with the  decommissioning of the 3G service as all networks are phasing 3G out and we'll have to depend on 4G and 5G for service.

Please have a look at your other post as I've also replied to it.

I’ve had my phone fm ID since Nov and the issue has been going on for the past 10 days l.

Ive now switched it on and off, reset it, got WiFi calling on and nothing has helped. The fact you can’t speak to anyone is driving me insane I’ll just look to cancel as a phone that can’t make or receive calls isn’t part of my contract !

Thanks Joe - already have done, twice ! They’ve raised a complaint which can take 7 days to look at, I’ve asked them to escalate it as urgent but no response - let’s hope for their sake nothing happens to my mother during that time otherwise I’ll be taking legal action
