Firstly I would advise checking your coverage at the link below:

The network status checker will also provide any information regarding work being carried out in the area.
Secondly I would advise testing the SIM in a different handset to see if that improves things.
If the coverage/network status checker shows no issues and the SIM is the same in another handset, we can test a replacement SIM.
