Took out a new contract this week and got a PAC number. When I try enter it to switch it says it has issues. The phone is arriving on Tuesday. Do I have to wait for the phone before I can switch?

Hi @Rosemary Baisch,

Welcome to the Community!

If you don’t have the SIM I would advise waiting for the SIM to arrive before porting.

I hope that you have since managed to resolve this.

If you require further assistance, please let us know.

So about a month ago I got an id sim card with new number which is working as it should. Meantime I have applied for a pac code from my old network and after installing the id sim I wanted to swap numbers. Unfortunately id website after putting all the inf (correct) keeps telling me there is a problem and I have to adjust is but at the same time sending me a message that the swap of the number will happen on a chosen day. It's not happening and I still have 2 numbers old and new I can't swa themt. Can anyone help. Please

Hi there @Marta Kopij

I’d suggest you contact iD directly to sort this out

Here’s a few ways:

Tag @iD Mobile on Facebook / @iD_Mobile_UK on X (Formerly Twitter) or send them a Private Message. One of their team will get back to you as soon as they can.

Or alternatively, their Live Chat team are available 9am - 8pm Monday to Friday,  and 9am - 6pm Saturday, Sunday, and Bank Holidays.

You can access Live Chat here: www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat.

(I would suggest if you use live chat to start the chat with speak to person or talk to person to bypass their automated chat bot)
