How long does top up last?

Hi All, how long does ID Mobile PAYG SIM top up last, is it just one month? Or is it still available in subsequent months if not used?

Hi @RickWild

Thank you for getting in touch with us here on the community.

Unless an additional Top-Up has been made, any unused Credit will expire after a period of 365 days from the date of purchase and unused allowances will expire as specified and this is non-refundable.

If you don't apply any Credit to your account, purchase a bundle, or make a chargeable event within 4 months of the expiry of the Introductory Period or, if later, the date you last applied Credit to your Account, your Account may be disconnected.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Hi there @RickWild

In honestly I have no clue how long your top-up lasts on iDM, I’m aware other providers can go as far as 6 months (some way longer).

But to partially answer your question no you do not need to top-up every month.

Hi, Natalie’s comment seems to have answered my question, thank you, having said that, as it is not a comment from a ID Mobile staff, it would be helpful, if another community member can confirm Natalie’s comment.

If not confirmed, I will just top up in small amounts, that way I can determine myself, if it is safe to top up in bigger amounts.

Hi Natalie, thanks for confirming that you are a iD Mobile employee, as I am new to the community, i did not know how to find out, if a member of the community are staff, now I do, thanks to you.

So as far as I am concerned, this request for information can be closed, as the question has been answered for me.

Just to point out @RickWild should you ever need help in the future via this community.

If you’re viewing these forums via a mobile device then you won’t see that at the side of any staff members username the fact it states iD Mobile employee. However if you’re using a mobile device and via that browsers settings you enable desktop mode this information is visible.

(no need to reply, just giving you some info)
