contract has ended and I’ve order a sim only esim

Hi

I was in a contract which has now ended.

i ‘upgraded’ to sim only and ordered an eSIM.

 I’ve activated the eSIM.

i think i still have 27 days of not existing month/contract..

now that I’ve activated my new eSIM, do I need to turn off the old sim? Well my number change?

 Thanks

 Natalie

If you got a new number with the eSIM then you have purchased an additional line.

You would have to give 30 days notice to cancel your original number.

You can’t transfer your number from one iD line to another.

If you wanted to do this you would have to port the number you want to keep to another network PAYG and then port it back to iD.

Hey there @nataliealdous, did you order a new plan completely, or an upgrade please?

As kindly advised by @MZone, if you ordered a new plan completely, then your old plan won’t automatically end, you’d need to cancel it.

If you upgraded, your old plan would end automatically.

Also as @MZone added, you cannot transfer your number directly via one contract to another, only via upgrading, or completing a triangle port.

Thanks,

Tyler
