New contract (still with ID Mobile).

Hi

My contract is finished in Two weeks (with iD Mobile) so I recently took advantage of an upgrade, (still with ID Mobile as the provider, just via a third party as they offered a much better deal than going directly with iD).

Am I correct in thinking that I now cannot keep my old existing mobile number, even though it’s with the same provider when I cancel it and use my new one?

I am assuming a PAC code etc is moot or can I merely switch it across as it’s with iD Mobile still?

Confused by how it all works...

Thank you

You haven’t upgraded, you have taken out a new line and no, you cannot transfer an existing iD Mobile number to another iD Mobile account.

Thanks for the reply Paul. It’s a good way of a refresh then I guess.

Hi @Scarcasm,

Welcome to the Community!

As @WelshPaul advised it sounds like you’ve taken out a new contract.

If you wish to keep the number the only way would be to port your number to a different network and port it back to the new iD Mobile account.

Please let us know if you require any assistance.

Kash

Hi @David Barwick

We’d recommend using the iD Mobile website to make a purchase, we cannot process purchases on the iD Mobile Community forums.
