new phone

I have my phone which is a Samsung A14

I think..

I can upgrade it in June if I want to or alternatively wait until my 2 year contract is up in August 2025..

Since the summer it only charges to 80%..

And now it takes all day to charge...I bought a new charger but it's still the same…

I can't afford to buy myself out of this existing contract.

I don't know what else I can do...this phone won't last until June...

Hi there @janette dunn

If you took out a phone and SIM contract with iD then you can only upgrade after 10 months on a 12 month contract or 22 months on a 24 month contract.

Also if this is a phone and SIM contract your phone would have had a 12 months warranty. Did you not think to use the warranty?

I thought I was messaging customer support..

I didn't realise it was on here..

I can't delete it either..

I just wanted to discuss things with an adviser..

Thank you anyway

Hi @janette dunn

Sorry to hear this, the best option may be to take your device to your local Currys store to be looked at under warranty/repair, or to Samsung directly.

Samsung devices have 2 years warranty from purchase.
