Phone upgrade

I currently have a sim only deal with ID Mobile but am looking to change my phone - none of the ID mobile upgrade options interest me, but i have found a deal with car phone warehouse. The network provider for this deal is ID mobile, but I can’t use a PAC code to retain my existing number in this instance.

How do I facilitate this going forward?

You can’t port from iD to iD. You would need to port the number you want to keep to another network PAYG SIM (ASDA & Three are popular). Once that is done you would need to request another PAC code from the new network and then give this to iD to port your number back. It’s called a double port.

Hey there @Mike1, as kindly advised, you cannot transfer your number from one iD contract to another I’m afraid. You can only keep your number directly via upgrading, or via a triangle port as advised by @MZone.

If you’re unhappy with your upgrade deals however, please feel free to call our sales team on 02071391397 to see if they can help at all.

Thanks,

Tyler
