Porting a number to an existing ID account

Hi

I have been with ID for years, I'm trying to port a number from 3 to use with ID and have the PAC code. when I use the form on the ID website it is asking for a “transaction” number which I do not have anywhere. It seems the transaction number is given when the contract with ID starts, I don’t have the original letter.

Thanks

Actually, by some miracle I found the transaction code from May 2022 but when I submitted the form it said “there is a problem….” and it won’t accept the details (which are correct). It looks like I will have to cancel one of my existing ID numbers (I have 4 accounts for myself and the family) and set up a new one just to accept the PAC code from 3...which seems a bit silly.

@murrayalex -

You can contact our Live Chat team to submit your PAC: Type ‘Speak to someone’.

Thanks.

Hi Mark...that link was useful...thanks

I did speak to someone and I was told the number would be ported 4/10/24 at 6pm….16 hours later it is still the old number although the 3 number has been “disconnected” according to 3...why the delay?

Well, I went back on to live chat this morning and whilst I was chatting to a girl, I got an email from ID saying the transfer was being completed this morning so all has now been sorted….not impressed with the security stuff on live chat though...submitted correct PIN and details on the form and neither worked apparently, had to go through manual id…..
