I have a current plan with idmobile sim only£8.00 per month.

I have just purchased a plan which includes s24 phone, and 24 month contract. i am unsure how to proceed.

I requested to keep my number. Do i need to cancel my £8.00 contract and do I need to use the new or old sim card?

Thanks

Hi @Emmaliam2

I agree with @andewhite here, it seems like you’ve purchased a completely separate plan instead of upgrading an existing one, meaning you won’t be able to directly transfer a number from one iD Mobile plan to the new one.

Sounds like you’ve now got two separate iD contracts, @Emmaliam2

Unfortunately, you can’t move a number from one iD account to another iD account and a PAC can only be used for transferring a number between different service providers.

Basically you’ve got two options:

  1. Port out the number you want to keep to another network, and then port it back to iD Mobile.
  2. Return your S24 in the contract cooling off period, and upgrade your £8/month contract.
