Whilst in Tenerife last week I could not use my data at all. I could make and receive calls and regular text messages though.
checked all my iPhone settings and ID Mobile app settings (when I got hooked into the hotel wifi) and everything would indicate that my data should be working! Very very frustrating as I couldn’t use WhatsApp or Uber etc etc etc.
i have an iPhone 12 which I bought directly from Apple 3-4 years ago and I’ve had no issues with it whatsoever. I was previously with Vodafone and then o2 and never had any roaming issues. I moved to ID Mobile about 2 months ago…and first time I went abroad my phone was pretty much useless.
anyone had this issue? Any ideas on how to resolve? I have live chatted with ID Mobile but got zero sense…the person I was chatting to told me they had no agreement with mobile operators in Tenerife hence why my phone wouldn’t work (I explained that I could make and receive calls and that Tenerife was part of Spain!!) They said someone would contact me in a day or two but no contact made as yet…
